00:07 More than a ton of meat was sold by Pecking Duck,
00:10 the fishermen in Cairns City because it was not documented.
00:13 According to the National Meat Inspection Service,
00:15 they have been selling this for more than two weeks.
00:18 Then, why are they selling the meat online?
00:21 They negotiated with the online seller
00:24 and Pecking Duck was accepted in their meet-up place in a market in Project 6.
00:29 The meat cost around Php 300,000 from China.
00:34 Four men were invited to RMIS to get a house.
00:38 One of them was a minor.
00:41 One of the men told him to drive today.
00:46 But the other man just followed his acquaintance's online order.
00:52 He did not know the owner of the meat.
00:54 The accepted Pecking Duck will be taken to a destruction facility so that it will not be used anymore.

01:03 Now that Christmas is coming, the people will start budgeting early.
01:07 Not only the price of chicken and the number of Noche Buena items that increased,
01:10 there is also a demand for an increase in the price of canned goods.
01:15 This is Bernadette Reyes.
01:17 [Music]
01:20 The price of farm gate fries for chickens is falling.
01:24 It is now playing at Php 85 to Php 94 per group of chickens.
01:29 But the price is twice or more than that of the family.
01:33 They say that they earn differently because their income is high.
01:36 Our production cost for broiler is around Php 95 to Php 100 per kilo.
01:41 So the broiler is very expensive.
01:43 We have a lot of imports because we do not have control.
01:48 In the last price monitoring of the Department of Agriculture,
01:51 the price of chickens per kilo in Metro Manila is from Php 150 to Php 200.
01:57 Here in the Litex Market in Quezon City, chickens are sold for Php 160 to Php 170 per kilo.
02:04 They should not be taken advantage of by other customers because life is really hard now.
02:10 Customers are the most attracted to chickens.
02:14 In the canned goods, there is no choice. We only sell canned goods because it is cheaper.
02:19 But even canned meat manufacturers have a high price.
02:23 Php 36 to Php 2.50 is the required price for some canned goods,
02:30 such as corned beef, meatloaf and beefloaf.
02:33 We are not approving increase. We are not insisting.
02:37 We are just talking because that is what we need.
02:40 The customers are also pitiful. So we are managing it as much as we can.
02:45 But wait, there's more.
02:47 Because even for Noche Buena, it is expensive.
02:50 Php 4 to Php 6 is a higher price than in 2022 for holiday ham, pear-shaped ham and American ham.
02:59 According to Pampis in their account, the higher price should be higher.
03:03 But they tried to maintain it as much as possible for the customers.
03:08 We are against the call of the DTI and the President to lower the price.
03:13 So even if it hurts a little, we will only do a 1 to 4 percent increase.
03:20 The DTI price guide will be released next week to serve as a guide for buyers.
03:26 For GMA Integrated News, Bernadette Reyes, your sasksi.
03:30 The oil price hike is dropping next week.
03:35 In the projection of an oil industry source, based on 4-day trading,
03:38 the price of diesel will increase to Php 1.30 per liter.
03:43 And the price of gasoline will increase to Php 1 per liter.
03:46 Oil Industry Management Bureau's Assistant Director Rodela Romero explained that
03:51 aside from the rising demand in the United States for oil,
03:54 the tension in the Gaza Strip is also affected by the demand and supply.
04:03 Adjusted operating hours will be back in malls.
04:07 Now, traffic will be heavy due to the Christmas rush.
04:10 Every weekend, sales should be on time according to MMDA.
04:15 Saksi, this is Chino Gaston.
04:17 Christmas is coming again, so the more crowded traffic is expected in places in Metro Manila where there are malls.
04:26 Like last year, MMDA asked the owners of the malls to do sales only on weekends.
04:33 MMDA also asked the malls to give a visa two weeks before their mall-wide sale
04:39 to plan the traffic.
04:42 From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. tomorrow.
04:45 There are also restrictions on delivery trucks in malls.
04:49 Aside from perishable goods, truck deliveries can be made in malls from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
04:57 Two weeks before the event, they submitted a traffic management plan.
05:02 It's also to increase the sales.
05:05 This is to make sure that the events and sales will not be affected by the rain or traffic.
05:18 Traffic, sir. We're out of gas. We're losing. We're losing in the traffic.
05:23 Why do you think we're losing?
05:25 Because they're waiting for the passengers.
05:28 According to MMDA, 20 percent of the vehicles will be added to the main streets of Metro Manila, especially on weekends.
05:37 That's why from November 13, the streets will be closed so that the Christmas traffic will not be added.
05:44 The duty of the traffic enforcers will be extended until midnight.
05:49 From October 27, MMDA will start the off-land transport for the flood victims in the provinces.
05:56 1,448 MMDA personnel will be deployed in the streets and cemeteries.
06:03 The Office of Transportation Security also issued a reminder to those who plan to travel this time.
06:09 Liquids such as gel and perfume, more than 100 ml, are prohibited in carry-on baggage.
06:15 If you need to drink liquor or other liquids more than 100 ml, it should be in check-in baggage.
06:22 Toxic, flammable and corrosive materials are also prohibited.
06:25 All sharp or sharp objects such as scissors, pocket knife, shaver and cutter can be used only in check-in.
06:32 These items will be confiscated if they're in carry-on baggage.
06:36 The LTFRB expanded the validity of the special permits issued to public utility bus.
06:42 This is for the expected flow of passengers in Ondas Holidays, Marangay and Sangguni in the youth elections.
06:49 The validity of the special permit will be extended until November 6.
06:52 For GMA Integrated News, Chino Gaston, Taksic.

07:19 The Northeast Monsoon, the cold wind from Siberia and mainland China
07:25 and we expect that not like the West, it will bring a weak rain here in our country.
07:31 But at the same time, the sheer line this weekend,
07:35 this is what is formed by thick clouds due to convergence or the collision of different winds.
07:42 That's the cold wind and also the Easter East.
07:45 Based on the data of Metro Weather, tomorrow afternoon, there will be heavy rains in a large part of Luzon.
07:51 We expect heavy rain here in Northern Luzon and also in some parts of Bicol Region.
07:58 Also on Sunday afternoon, there will be heavy rains here in Palawan.

08:22 There will be heavy rains, especially here in Leyte Provinces.
08:26 On Sunday, there will be heavy rains here in Negros Provinces and in the province of Antique.
08:33 So be careful.

08:37 But on Sunday afternoon, it will be wide.
08:40 We expect heavy to intense rains, especially in Zamboanga Peninsula.
08:45 This is the color red and orange on our map.
08:49 It means that it will be heavy rains.
08:51 For the Magwi Week and Getaway, let's look at the 3-day forecast of the weather in some parts of the country.
08:58 For those who will be cold in Baguio City, the temperature there is 16 to 24 degrees Celsius.
09:04 We expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

10:17 are not answering the media's questions.
10:20 They are not facing the panel of prosecutors in the Department of Justice.
10:25 This is the reason why the preliminary investigation is being held in the clarifying hearing
10:29 on the various complaints against them due to the abuse in their community in Surigao del Norte.
