00:03 People think that guac needs to be one certain way
00:05 and they're having it at parties, you know,
00:07 the same way over and over again.
00:08 We're gonna twist it up a little bit
00:10 and try some different ones.
00:12 We're gonna use store-bought pesto.
00:13 Just put it in with the avocados and, you know,
00:16 instantly you have guac with only two ingredients.
00:18 With guac, you generally wanna have the herb
00:21 and you wanna have the garlic.
00:22 Pesto has all those things built in already.
00:24 Pomegranates are actually traditional in guacamole
00:27 and we're gonna put some of those in and on top.
00:29 I'm gonna use mint instead of cilantro
00:31 and we're gonna use a blood orange.
00:33 With the pesto one, we took a shortcut
00:35 and the store-bought pesto is already salty enough.
00:37 But with this one, since it's more from scratch,
00:39 we have to make sure to add plenty of salt.

00:44 By cutting the blood orange like this,
00:47 it actually gets us to enjoy the dramatic color
00:50 and not just the flavor of it.
00:51 For our third guac,
00:52 we're gonna do a pizza-flavored guacamole.
00:55 I'm gonna slice up the pepperoni so that it can get mixed in
00:58 to help that pepperoni essence get into the avocado.
01:01 To round out our pizza flavors,
01:02 I have some minced garlic here.
01:04 I also have some grated Parmesan cheese.
01:06 I'm gonna use some dried oregano
01:08 and then we have some crushed pepper flakes as well.

01:13 For this one, since we're going for the pizza look,
01:17 I'm gonna flatten it out
01:18 and add a few more pepperonis on top.
01:20 Pepperoni, pepperonis, pepperoni.
01:23 And just a sprinkle of cheese and we're good to go.
01:27 Pepperoni pizza guacamole.
