The Campaign Against Antisemitism charity claims the Met Police pulled over vans it was running through central London which were broadcasting images of children taken hostage by Hamas.

In response, the Met said it took the actions it did to protect the van drivers and their property, with a vigil being held nearby in memory of those killed after a hospital was hit in Gaza.

00:00 What's the problem?
00:01 Is it okay to talk to you on this side of the road?
00:03 Yeah.
00:04 Can we talk on the paper?
00:12 Is it yourself who's funded this?
00:15 Yeah, we're the charity, yeah.
00:17 We're the...
00:18 We're the charity that's organised it.
00:20 Charity, that's my disease.
00:22 What's the problem with it?
00:25 So...
00:26 Yeah.
00:27 This is the gentleman who's part of the charity that's funded this.
00:31 Yeah.
00:32 Obviously you know that there's a vigil going on down the left.
00:38 We're just driving around...
00:39 We've been doing it this week and we're driving around London.
00:41 These are also kids who've been kidnapped by Hamas.
00:44 We're entitled to do it.
00:46 Well, where's your next direction?
00:48 Where are you heading?
00:49 We're going to be going down Downing Street, then Trafalgar Square and then onwards.
00:53 And what time are you planning on...
00:55 At...
00:56 Why have you told him to turn it off?
01:04 Excuse me, why has the guy been told to turn it off?
01:09 On what legal basis has he been asked to do that?
01:12 I don't want you to get run over by police.
01:15 You're holding me back and you've just told him to turn that off.
01:19 You've just told him to turn that off.
01:21 Why are the police holding me back and telling them to turn the vans off?
01:25 Why are they doing that?
01:27 Talk to them a second.
01:29 Okay, why have they just been...
01:31 I'd like to speak to the person who's giving instructions.
01:33 No, excuse me.
01:34 Just come out of the road.
01:35 Why are you holding...
01:36 Okay, someone is giving instructions to turn off our vans.
01:39 They're private property.
01:40 They're entitled to do what they're doing.
01:42 Why are they being told to do that?
01:44 They are entitled to, but at the same time, we want to make sure that they're safe,
01:47 their property is safe, and what we don't want to do is have people coming this way
01:52 and doing any damage to their vans.
01:54 Right, so if they're happy to drive around London, which they were,
01:57 until you pulled them over and stopped them...
01:59 We haven't pulled them over.
02:00 You've told them to stop.
02:01 Look, there's a police officer there who's told them to stop.
02:03 We've asked them to move into a different place.
