00:00 Christian, you made a joke in Claudia
00:02 that your wife said she's never seen you happier in 35 years.
00:06 It wasn't a joke, to be honest. I mean...
00:08 -No, no, I mean... -It's not a joke.
00:09 Hey, this is not therapy here on It Takes Two.
00:12 No, no, I mean, it's been a genuinely profound experience.
00:15 What do you think it's down to?
00:17 I think it's about realising
00:19 that you really need something that you love in life.
00:23 And it's quite easy at my age.
00:25 You know, you hit middle age,
00:27 and quite a lot of your life is about other people.
00:29 It's about work, it's about your kids, it's about, you know...
00:32 And you don't necessarily do stuff that you love.
00:36 And doing something that you love
00:38 suddenly releases this kind of wave of emotion and endorphins.
00:42 And, you know, I've turned into one of those sort of gibbering old men wrecks
00:46 who suddenly get in touch with their emotions and cry all the time.
00:49 - Thanks.
