Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 84 (Arabic Recitation): " وَإِذۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمۡ لَا تَسۡفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمۡ وَلَا تُخۡرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ ثُمَّ أَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ تَشۡهَدُونَ "
Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 84 (English Translation): “ And [recall] when We took your covenant, [saying], "Do not shed your [i.e., each other's] blood or evict one another from your homes." Then you acknowledged [this] while you were witnessing. ”
Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 84 (Urdu Translation): “ اورجب ہم نے تم سے وعده لیا کہ آپس میں خون نہ بہانا (قتل نہ کرنا) اور آپس والوں کو جلا وطن نہ کرنا، تم نے اقرار کیا اور تم اس کے شاہد بنے۔ ”
The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Mohammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). Surah Al-Baqarah is the second chapter of the Quran.
