00:03 You also mentioned Shane Steichen's name earlier on.
00:07 Obviously, you're fairly early on in this,
00:10 but comes in with great credentials.
00:13 And he's got Indianapolis competing really hard.
00:16 And you got an overtime win over Baltimore.
00:20 That's a big win.
00:21 What's the vibe right now with the direction
00:25 that Shane is trying to take this franchise?
00:28 I think the biggest thing is just the culture shift.
00:32 Over the past-- especially last season,
00:34 the dumpster fire that was the Indianapolis Colts--
00:37 I mean, Frank Wright getting booted out
00:38 midway through the year, Jeff Saturday coming in straight off
00:41 the ESPN set to coach this team.
00:45 There was so many questions surrounding this team.
00:47 Does Chris Ballard even making the decisions,
00:49 or is it Jim Irsay?
00:51 Well, it seems like things have gone back to the norm,
00:54 starting back where Jim Irsay let
00:56 Chris Ballard take full control of the coaching search.
01:01 And Chris got his guy in Shane Steichen.
01:03 And so far, there's just been a major culture change
01:07 within this Colts team.
01:09 There seems to be more accountability.
01:12 Shane Steichen isn't afraid to call out players
01:15 if they're not doing well.
01:16 And not only the coach is holding players accountable,
01:19 players are holding other players accountable.
01:22 You talk about the leaders on this team--
01:24 Taforis Buckner, Shaquille Leonard, Quentin Nelson,
01:28 Ryan Kelly--
01:30 those guys that have been there, done that with the Colts
01:32 for a long time.
01:34 And I want to include Zyre Franklin on that, too,
01:37 who is having another monster campaign.
01:40 You talk about these leaders on this team,
01:43 and it just seems like they've all bought
01:45 into Shane Steichen's vision.
01:47 And that's something that you need with a young team
01:51 and with these veterans who have been there for so long.
01:55 So I talked about it a couple of weeks
01:58 ago when the Colts, they came back against-- they were down,
02:01 I think it was 23 to nothing against the Rams.
02:04 And they came all the way back.
02:06 If we're talking about that last year,
02:08 this Colts team probably folds and doesn't even
02:10 get close to coming back against the Rams.
02:14 But this year under Shane Steichen,
02:16 and you have a rookie quarterback,
02:17 they came back with a vengeance.
02:19 So it's just this feeling that you're never out of a game.
02:23 And you can see it with how hard this Colts team is
02:26 playing versus how they were playing
02:28 towards the end of last year.
