00:01 Look, I mean, to many of us, the cenotaph is sacred ground.

00:04 I mean, there's a reason it matters so much to our national consciousness.

00:08 It's not just a memory of wars past, where many of our, you know, grandparents or great

00:13 uncles or whatever fought in the First and Second World Wars.

00:16 But for many of us, it's a very living memory to our friends we lost in Iraq and Afghanistan,

00:22 or indeed in other conflicts around the world.

00:24 So frankly, the fact that there is a stage there is absolutely outrageous.

00:28 I'm told that the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign didn't even ask Westminster Council for permission

00:33 to put it up.

00:34 And I'll be doing everything that I can and making sure that this is not allowed to happen
