The Case of Kristine Johnson
“I was staring at the face of evil”

On February 17, 2003, Terry Hall contacts the police to report her missing daughter, Kristine Johnson, who had gone silent for two days. Detectives learn from Kristine's flatmate that she left for a Hollywood Hills audition, supposedly for a Bond Girl role, which turned out to be a non-existent movie. To apprehend a serial predator who has eluded the law for over a decade, investigators focus on the key lead: what Kristine purchased at the Century City Mall on the day she vanished.
