00:00 Welcome to Fantasy Booking Warfare!
00:03 Our fantasy booking spectacular returns as eight gladiators will battle in this single
00:08 elimination tournament in head-to-head competition.
00:12 Each episode will feature its own booking scenario, judged brutally and voted on fairly
00:18 by our esteemed panel of judges as we journey to determine who is the least terrible Booker
00:24 of Fantasy Wrestling.
00:26 I'm Dave Bradshaw and for the past 15 years I've been a play-by-play commentator in British
00:31 and European wrestling.
00:32 Off the top, missile, dropkick, can he get it?
00:33 Yes he can!
00:34 He's the champion of the world!
00:38 I am the master of the half crab, the current reigning undisputed British heavyweight champion,
00:43 Michael Oku, and who better to tell you how bad things are booked than me?
00:52 I'm Nina Samuels, star of the Nina Samuels Show and here on WrestleTalk - because of
00:56 course WrestleTalk needs more Nina.
01:01 So today the scenario we're looking at is the Hurt Business reunion.
01:11 And first up is WrestleTalk's Oli Davis.
01:14 We begin in the darkest timeline, the Raw after SummerSlam.
01:19 The former members of the Hurt Business are scattered across the WWE Universe, despondent
01:24 and directionless.
01:25 Cedric Alexander has been in NXT for half a year, stuck in midcard feuds to get other,
01:31 younger, less talented wrestlers over.
01:33 Bobby Lashley hasn't been seen since February.
01:36 Another year of WrestleMania plans scrapped because he's only ever booked as the guy
01:40 to work with.
01:42 The guy.
01:43 And Shelton Benjamin, after a WWE career totaling 16 years, has been released.
01:49 And worst of all, Dominik Mysterio is your new United States Champion.
01:56 But MVP knows amongst all this hurt, there's business to be done.
02:02 The Judgment Day are celebrating Dirty Dom's title win in the ring.
02:06 He's only had it for one day, but they're already calling him history's definitive
02:10 US Champion.
02:11 This is Judgment Day's America.
02:14 MVP's music hits.
02:16 He comes down with Omos, who squares up to Dom.
02:19 Dom hides behind Priest, and the two giants go face to face.
02:23 MVP grabs the mic.
02:24 He's been in this game for over two decades, and he hasn't got long left.
02:28 He's not as fast as he used to be.
02:30 His knee is busted.
02:31 But he's still got enough to beat a punk like Dom.
02:35 Because Montel Vontavious Porter won't be standing at ringside while Omos kicks your
02:40 ass.
02:41 MVP is going to kick your ass.
02:44 I'm back, and I'm taking my United States title.
02:48 Elsewhere in WWE, Bobby Lashley has finally returned from his six month hiatus, and…
02:55 he's significantly bulkier than before.
02:58 After building his whole career on an image of lean, muscular perfection, we are now confronted
03:04 with the same transformation Thor had post-Infinity War.
03:07 For the first time ever, we are seeing Fat Lashley.
03:12 The US title programme builds to MVP vs Dom at No Mercy.
03:18 The match has all the interference.
03:20 Priest and Omos take each other out through the barricade.
03:22 MVP knocks out Balor and Dom, but a Ripley low blow lets Mysterio retain.
03:27 Following defeat, MVP is dejected.
03:30 He tells Omos backstage that he's lived his life around business.
03:33 That's all he's ever been about.
03:35 Managing the business's MVP.
03:38 Managing the business of his old friend's faction.
03:41 But the happiest he's ever been is when it's been about his family.
03:45 So why not have both?
03:46 It's time to start the family business back up.
03:50 Due to the interference at No Mercy, Adam Pearce had agreed to give MVP a US title rematch
03:56 against Dom at Payback.
03:57 And this time, it's no DQ.
04:00 In preparation for that stipulation, MVP visits an episode of NXT to talk to Cedric.
04:05 Cedric says he's happy down here.
04:07 His real life wife Big Swole has recently joined.
04:10 And besides, he was only ever Bobby's lackey in the Hurt Business.
04:14 You were too, MVP.
04:15 That's why you turned on him.
04:17 MVP takes this all in and replies…
04:19 Yeah, families fight.
04:22 They fall out.
04:23 But at the end of the day, they're always family.
04:27 Payback.
04:28 That's what I'm asking.
04:31 The next week, MVP and Omos track down Shelton Benjamin, coaching amateur wrestling at a
04:36 local high school.
04:37 Shelton doesn't want to talk.
04:38 He's left pro wrestling behind.
04:40 MVP left him with nothing.
04:42 The Hurt Business wasn't this magical time you remember it as.
04:45 We were together for what, three months?
04:48 We were never a family.
04:50 MVP takes it all in and replies…
04:54 Families don't get to choose each other, Shelton.
04:56 And they always have each other's backs.
04:59 Payback.
05:01 Meanwhile Lashley has been wrestling low effort match after low effort match, beating
05:05 mediocre enhancement talent.
05:07 He's more concerned with partying and drinking and finally enjoying those sweet, sweet carbs
05:12 than challenging himself these days.
05:15 Which is why whenever his phone lights up in backstage segments with MVP's calls,
05:20 he slides the reject button.
05:22 MVP eventually confronts Lashley in his dressing room, celebrating his latest meaningless win.
05:27 What happened to you, Bobby?
05:29 MVP asks.
05:30 This business happened to me, Lashley replies between sips of champagne.
05:34 Two years ago, I was WWE Champion.
05:37 I was on top.
05:40 I put everything into this business, and it took it from me and never once said thank
05:45 you.
05:46 Two Manias in a row I've missed.
05:47 But I've decided to be thankful for that, because I finally understand it all.
05:52 Whatever you do, no matter how hard you work here, it doesn't matter.
05:57 So I'm going to do the bare minimum and get paid.
06:00 That's real business.
06:02 MVP looks at him.
06:04 He looks at Bobby's expensive suit and glass of champagne and hangers on and says, you
06:10 don't understand s***.
06:12 Everyone around here says they can't see the once almighty Bobby Lashley because he's
06:16 hidden beneath layers of fat.
06:17 But I know different.
06:19 You're not covered in layers of fat.
06:21 I can smell it from here.
06:23 You're covered in layers of fear.
06:25 And together, we're stronger.
06:28 Payback Bobby.
06:29 Let's get it.
06:31 At Payback, the no DQ allowed interference starts right away.
06:35 Finn and Priest immediately take out Omos, and Rear and Dom lay out MVP.
06:39 They could make the pin, but they toy with their prey.
06:42 They work MVP over when.
06:44 Who's that in the crowd?
06:45 It's Shelton Benjamin.
06:46 But he's not sighing, Dom is screaming at him.
06:49 You can't be here.
06:50 You were released.
06:51 You were released.
06:52 And Cedric Alexander knocks Dom out with a forearm to the back of the head.
06:56 Shelton and Cedric help MVP and Omos up.
06:59 It's now four on four.
07:00 A mass brawl breaks out.
07:02 But JD McDonough takes out Alexander and Benjamin with a steel chair.
07:06 It was a trap.
07:07 The Judgment Day have a new member.
07:10 They beat down MVP, Shelton, Omos and Cedric.
07:14 Outnumbered, MVP looks up the ramp for an Almighty that never answers his prayers.
07:20 Dominic retains again.
07:22 On the next episode of Raw, Lashley beats another no-name jobber.
07:26 He goes backstage to party with fast women and fast food.
07:30 Suddenly, someone stops the music.
07:32 It's MVP.
07:33 Bobby sends the ladies away.
07:35 He's chomping on a burger.
07:37 MVP limps to the leather sofa, his knee increasingly battered, and sits next to Lashley to make
07:43 a confession.
07:44 I've been going for the US title for the wrong reasons, he tells Bobby.
07:48 I wanted one last championship run.
07:51 Not anymore.
07:52 I don't want one last title win.
07:55 I want one last run with the people who matter most to me.
08:00 If you rejoin the Hurt Business, I'll make sure you win the United States Championship,
08:06 not me.
08:07 I'll do anything to make that happen.
08:09 You have my word.
08:11 MVP presses play on the music as he leaves.
08:14 The women re-enter dancing around Bobby, but his mind is now elsewhere.
08:19 Weeks later, the Judgment Day have now rechristened Dominic as MVP Dom - Mysterio Valuable Player.
08:26 They're interrupted by the real MVP, flanked by Shelton, Cedric and Omos.
08:30 MVP wants one last shot at the United States title.
08:33 Dominic replies, this is getting sad now.
08:36 And anyway, what's to stop MVP coming out next month and saying that's the last time,
08:41 or the month after that, or the month after that?
08:44 MVP cuts him off.
08:45 This will be the last time, because I'm putting my career on the line.
08:51 MVP turns to the back, no longer addressing Dom.
08:54 You hear that, he shouts.
08:56 That's how much the Hurt Business means to me.
08:59 Judgment Day jump MVP Shelton, Cedric and Omos.
09:02 They beat them down.
09:03 They're about to destroy MVP's deteriorated knee when Bobby Lashley's music hits.
09:10 Initially, Judgment Day cower.
09:12 They remember Lashley as the Almighty, a man made of chiselled marble.
09:16 But when Bobby enters the arena, they remember how out of shape he is.
09:20 His suit jacket stretches at the seams.
09:23 He's sweating even more than he used to.
09:25 Dominic points and laughs as Lashley struggles to enter the ring.
09:29 Dominic gets the mic.
09:31 If this is the Hurt Business, he snorts, Judgment Day will take you all on to end MVP's career.
09:37 Lashley nods.
09:38 He looks down at MVP.
09:40 He takes off his blazer, ready to fight.
09:43 Then he unbuttons his shirt.
09:46 And he tears away at his own flesh.
09:49 Judgment Day are confused, until Bobby rips off his clothes to reveal the padding beneath
09:54 them.
09:55 He rips those off too to reveal the lean, muscular, godlike body beneath.
09:59 The old Bobby Lashley is back.
10:01 Dom's face drops, and Lashley spears McDonough while the rest of Judgment Day scamper Shelton
10:07 and Cedric help MVP to his feet.
10:09 Omos hands him the mic Dom dropped, into which Montel Vontavious Porter shouts 'Hurt Business
10:16 vs Judgment Day!
10:18 Winning pin gets the United States title at Survivor Series in WarGames!'
10:25 In the following weeks, Bobby tells MVP he's not in this for the family, he's in it for
10:30 the business.
10:31 And that business is him becoming the US Champion like MVP promised.
10:36 You can understand that, can't you?
10:38 That's what MVP always taught him anyway.
10:40 It's just business.
10:42 Lashley never hangs out with the Hurt Business in those building segments.
10:45 He continues to have his separate squash matches, but against more credible opponents.
10:50 MVP, Shelton, Cedric, Omos and Big Swole, who's joined them on the main roster, meanwhile,
10:56 work as a team.
10:57 The final chapter is upon us.
10:59 The Hurt Business of MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander vs the Judgment
11:05 Days, Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominic Mysterio and JD McDonough in WarGames.
11:12 Cedric enters first with Finn, then it's Priest followed by Shelton, then it's McDonough,
11:17 then MVP.
11:18 The final entrant for Judgment Day is Dirty Dom, but Rhea Ripley walks in with him.
11:23 They chain the door shut.
11:25 Big Swole is trying to rip the cage door open to help her husband.
11:28 Now it's Lashley's time to enter as the final member.
11:30 He's looking for bolt cutters, but they can't find any.
11:33 In the cage, Judgment Day are destroying the Hurt Business.
11:36 MVP's face is dripping with blood.
11:39 Ripley is choking Cedric with a chain as Swole screams at her from the outside.
11:43 Lashley looks at Omos.
11:45 Omos looks at him.
11:47 They have an understanding, and rip the cage door together from its hinges.
11:52 The Judgment Day are frozen in horror.
11:54 Swole runs in and takes out Ripley immediately, and Lashley spears everyone else.
11:58 It's the first ever intergender WarGames.
12:01 With Balor, Priest, Ripley and McDonough incapacitated, MVP directs all the Hurt Business hitting
12:07 their finishers on Dominik.
12:08 Cedric hits a lumbar check into Shelton's pay dirt, into Swole's dirty dancing, into
12:14 Lashley's Hurt Lock.
12:16 The whole team are cheering Lashley on when… he stops.
12:20 Instead he shoves Dom's lifeless body to the canvas by MVP's feet.
12:27 MVP looks at Lashley.
12:29 He looks at Cedric and Shelton.
12:32 And Swole and Omos.
12:34 They nod.
12:35 He looks like he's going to cry, but instead he mouths 'thank you'.
12:40 He hits a ball in elbow, with the whole crowd chanting along, and a playmaker to win the
12:46 United States Championship.
12:48 The match ends as the Hurt Business, led by Lashley, parade him around on their shoulders.
12:54 And the next night on Raw, MVP retires as champion.
13:01 Out.
13:02 Wow.
13:03 I'm quite emotional.
13:04 Yeah.
13:05 Wow, wow, look at that.
13:06 I'm also quite confused.
13:07 They're assuming that Bobby Lashley has the ability to get fat and out of shape.
13:10 Well, so this is something that Bobby Lashley himself said he can do it.
13:13 But then how is that working when he takes off the jacket and there's padding?
13:18 Well, so he doesn't get out of shape, right?
13:20 He's actually just wearing padding the whole time.
13:22 But then people have had to wrestle in a full body suit for the entire time that he's
13:27 meant to be out of shape.
13:28 I'm sure that WWE can…
13:30 I don't know if any makeup team in the world has the skills to get some kind of body
13:35 makeup on that will withstand Bobby Lashley's sweat.
13:37 Is it a fat suit?
13:38 Is he actually getting fat?
13:40 Have you considered the perspiration?
13:42 Is that actually physically possible?
13:44 Or will he die?
13:45 Maybe Oli Davis has bogged an angle where talent dies.
13:49 War game between Judgment Day and Hurt Business.
13:52 I just want to see that match.
13:53 The ending is incredible.
13:54 I mean, I think there's some questions, but the whole finding Shelton Benjamin in
13:56 a high school, it's a bit like, you know, like when Ron Bergen…
13:59 I love that.
14:00 Yeah, that's what I love.
14:01 I love, as soon as I love the visual of like, you know, sometimes you don't, you think
14:05 you don't see that enough.
14:06 I could just see him just with a whistle.
14:07 Just like, go chill.
14:08 You know that being Anchorman when Ron Bergen, he's lost his job and he's drinking milk
14:13 in the playzone.
14:14 That's it.
14:15 That's how I'm imagining it.
14:16 Those days are behind us.
14:17 Wrestling needs more Anchorman right now.
14:18 Yeah, exactly.
14:19 Exactly.
14:20 I'm iffy about after all of this, he just retires.
14:23 So like all this work to just be like, all right, the belt's gone now.
14:26 The Hurt Business is back.
14:28 See ya.
14:29 The playmaker is the worst finisher in history of wrestling.
14:32 Oh, shame, shame.
14:34 Wow.
14:35 So, so to, this isn't on MVP, the ball in elbow, the crowd are going to lose their mind.
14:39 They're like, yeah, the crowd's standing up.
14:41 They go ball in, boom, one, two, three.
14:44 Don't pick them up and do the thing with the thing.
14:45 Because he has just taken like four other finishes at that point as well.
14:48 Exactly, it's good.
14:49 Ball in, boom, one, two, three, crowd's losing.
14:51 That's it.
14:52 The whole section was skated over there with dissension in the Hurt Business.
14:59 And should be shown with that.
15:00 And how does that play into the dynamic?
15:02 I feel like there's a missing chunk of the story there.
15:04 There's some layers that they could have, could have been added.
15:06 Yeah.
15:07 Omos was just kind of there as someone who just got beaten up like everyone, but he's
15:10 a giant.
15:11 Omos should have joined the Dutchman Day.
15:14 Being like, oh, you're looking for your family?
15:16 I'm not good enough?
15:17 Well, screw it then.
15:18 I'm joining these guys.
15:19 You want to find your old family?
15:21 Well, then screw you.
15:22 And that's an even bigger challenge to overcome.
15:24 So we've got lots of points, lots of questions, lots of things to clarify.
15:27 And it'd be very interesting to compare to what's sad.
15:31 Hi, I'm Sad-E Nyangi, hailing from parts far known.
15:35 I've always wanted to say that.
15:38 So here is how I would book a group that is near and dear to my heart.
15:42 The Hurt Business Reunion.
15:44 It's week one.
15:45 MVP successfully persuades Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander to mend their differences
15:50 and reunite as a team.
15:52 In the same episode of Raw, MVP reminds Bobby Lashley about his instrumental role in having
15:56 him reinstated after a brief suspension.
15:59 MVP's intention is to make amends and rectify their past issues.
16:02 But Bobby Lashley still carries the memory of MVP's previous betrayal when he sided
16:08 with Omos.
16:09 There's significant bad blood between them that prevents Lashley from considering a reunion
16:14 with MVP.
16:15 On next week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin join
16:19 forces to face Alpha Academy, Chad Gable and Otis.
16:23 A timely distraction by MVP allows Cedric Alexander to secure the victory by pinning
16:29 Chad Gable.
16:30 Cedric and Shelton celebrate alongside MVP.
16:33 Later in the show, Bobby Lashley prepares for his United States Championship number
16:37 one contender match, a triple threat match against Bronson Reed and AJ Styles.
16:43 As MVP enters Lashley's locker room, he asks if Lashley saw Cedric and Shelton's
16:48 victory earlier.
16:49 Lashley, focused on his upcoming match, explains that he didn't watch due to his preparation.
16:54 He emphasizes his need for concentration, politely asking MVP to leave him be.
16:59 MVP respects Lashley's request, expressing his support for Lashley's victory over Austin
17:04 Fury and a triumphant return as WWE United States Champion.
17:09 Lashley nods and walks off, while MVP has a slight smile and a glimmer of hope.
17:14 Main event of Raw.
17:15 The main event features the aforementioned triple threat match, Bobby Lashley vs AJ Styles
17:21 vs Bronson Reed.
17:22 US Champion Austin Fury provides guest commentary, scouting his potential competition.
17:28 As the match progresses, Lashley delivers an almighty spinebuster, sending Bronson Reed
17:34 through the announce table.
17:35 Lashley re-enters the ring, poised to spear AJ Styles.
17:39 However, Austin Fury intervenes by grabbing Lashley's leg.
17:43 This momentary distraction allows AJ Styles to execute the dreaded schoolboy roll-up,
17:49 resulting in a close two count.
17:51 Amidst this, MVP and Omos appear at ringside, their intentions unclear.
17:55 Are they here to assist or hinder Lashley?
17:58 The uncertainty dissipates when Omos delivers a slightly awkward yet impactful big boot
18:03 to Bronson Reed, followed by a similar move to Austin Fury.
18:07 As the audience process this unexpected turn, AJ Styles regains his composure and positions
18:13 himself for a phenomenal forearm.
18:15 MVP urges caution, and Lashley responds swiftly, countering Styles' move with a powerful
18:21 spear.
18:22 The subsequent cover leads to Lashley's victory.
18:25 MVP and Omos applaud Lashley's accomplishment, while Fury realizes his impending title clash
18:30 with Lashley.
18:31 The segment closes on this note of intrigue.
18:35 Week 3 is another episode of Monday Night Raw, and we have reached that point where
18:39 a mid-card feud needs a talk show segment.
18:42 The Miz hosts an episode of MizTV with Bobby Lashley as the guest.
18:47 The Miz proceeds to extend his congratulations to Bobby Lashley for emerging victorious in
18:52 the Triple Threat match.
18:53 However, he subtly suggests that perhaps he should be congratulating MVP and Omos instead,
18:59 as their involvement played a pivotal role in Bobby's triumph.
19:02 This comment triggers a reaction from Bobby, who counters The Miz's implication by stating
19:07 he wasn't reliant on MVP and Omos during the match.
19:10 He states that he successfully defeated AJ Styles and Bronson Reed without their assistance,
19:16 and makes it clear that he doesn't need them when he faces Austin Theory.
19:20 The Miz's demeanor shifts to one of trepidation as Lashley advances, ready for a confrontation.
19:27 The arena reverberates with "A-Town Down," signifying Austin Theory's entrance.
19:32 Theory criticizes Lashley for needing an entourage and being incapable of fighting his own battles.
19:38 Lashley invites Austin into the ring for an almighty beatdown.
19:43 Just as Theory prepares to respond, Bronson Reed's theme music hits and he makes his
19:47 way to the ring.
19:49 Reed echoes Theory's sentiments, declaring that Lashley relies on backup.
19:54 Lashley invites both Reed and Theory to an ass-whooping.
19:57 As he concludes, The Miz seizes the opportunity to ambush Lashley from behind, initiating
20:02 a brawl.
20:03 The chaotic scene is interrupted by the arrival of Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin,
20:08 to even the odds.
20:09 Their involvement sets off a flurry of action that ends with the former Hurt Business Cohort
20:14 standing tall.
20:16 Adam Pearce intervenes, announcing a six-man tag match involving all parties.
20:20 The segment transitions into a commercial break.
20:23 Upon returning from the break, we're in the midst of the six-man tag match, where
20:27 in the end Bobby Lashley executes his devastating spear on The Miz, securing victory for his
20:33 team.
20:34 In the end, Austin Theory goes to attack Lashley from behind with the US title, but Omos intervenes
20:40 and Lashley hits Theory with a spear and raises the United States title up above his head,
20:46 signalling his intent to claim the title.
20:48 He also embraces Shelton and Cedric.
20:50 The segment concludes with Lashley's nod to Omos and MVP's approving presence on
20:55 the ramp.
20:56 We're slowly inching closer to the reunion.
20:58 Week 4!
20:59 It's the Raw before Elimination Chamber in Montreal, with the highly anticipated showdown
21:03 between Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory headlining the event.
21:07 Before the match, we have a quick backstage interview where Kayla Braxton asks Bobby Lashley
21:12 if he's ready for tonight's main event.
21:15 Lashley says he's more than ready.
21:17 He's a former United States Champion and a former WWE Champion.
21:21 Lashley states he's beaten every obstacle set in front of him, including Brock Lesnar,
21:27 so nothing can stop him from reclaiming his title.
21:30 MVP interrupts the interview and he respectfully asks to speak to Bobby alone.
21:35 He lets Lashley know that he spoke with Adam Pearce in order to prevent Austin Theory from
21:40 weaseling out of the match with a DQ or count-out finish.
21:44 It's now a no-DQ match.
21:46 Bobby expresses his gratitude to MVP for his actions, but says that he doesn't need any
21:51 additional help going forward.
21:52 So he doesn't want to see him, Shelton, Cedric or Omos out there for his match.
21:57 MVP says he'll do as the Almighty says, but he'll see him after the show for celebratory
22:02 drinks and they part ways amicably.
22:04 As the main event unfolds, Bobby Lashley squares off against Austin Theory in a no-DQ match.
22:10 An intense battle ensues.
22:11 Midway through the match, Lashley is poised to secure victory with the spear, only to
22:16 be interrupted by Bronson Reed and The Miz.
22:19 Their unexpected intrusion disrupts the momentum and sparks a chaotic scene.
22:23 However, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin rush to the ring, sparking a brawl that spills
22:28 into the backstage area, leaving Theory and Lashley to finish the match.
22:32 Lashley hits the spear on Austin Theory.
22:34 And then we get a one, two, someone pulls Bobby's leg and drags him out of the ring.
22:40 And the culprit is none other than Brock Lesnar, who proceeds to rip off the padding on the
22:46 floor and F-fires Bobby Lashley on exposed concrete and throwing him back into the ring.
22:51 Austin Theory tries to body up to Lesnar, but Brock looks at Theory in disgust and F-fires
22:56 him onto Lashley in a pinning position.
22:58 Theory pins Lashley, thanks to the beast who smiles.
23:02 After the match, Brock Lesnar gives Bobby a second F-five.
23:04 And after deafening chants of "One more time, one more time, one more time", Lesnar
23:09 blides and hits Lashley with a third F-five.
23:12 Raw after Elimination Chamber, Bobby Lashley takes centre stage.
23:17 Lesnar's demand for a confrontation with Brock Lesnar is met with Lesnar's distinct
23:22 entrance music as Lesnar strides towards the ring.
23:25 The anticipation is palpable.
23:27 However, before Lesnar can engage with Lashley, he is ambushed by Shelton Benjamin and Cedric
23:32 Alexander.
23:33 Lesnar initially resists their attack, but Omos intervenes with a powerful chokehold
23:38 that incapacitates Lesnar.
23:40 Omos subsequently hurls Lesnar into a steel ring post, further weakening him.
23:44 Lashley seizes the moment, instructing Omos to bring Lesnar into the ring.
23:49 Omos obliges, hoisting Lesnar onto his shoulder and placing him in the centre of the ring.
23:54 With Lesnar prone, Lashley initiates an unrelenting onslaught, asserting his dominance over the
24:00 beast incarnate.
24:01 As MVP Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander join the beatdown, a united front prevents
24:06 any interference from officials or referees.
24:09 A culmination of the assault sees Lashley execute his spear on Lesnar and Omos assist
24:14 in lifting Lesnar, positioning him for Lashley's hurtlock submission.
24:20 Lesnar passes out.
24:21 All of the men celebrate and raise their hands, and Lashley is the last to join, seemingly
24:30 confirming that the hurt business was indeed back in business.
24:34 It's the Raw after.
24:36 It's the reunion.
24:38 MVP hosts the VIP lounge and his guests are the newly reformed hurt business, suited and
24:43 booted Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, the Nigerian giant Omos and the almighty Bobby
24:50 Lashley.
24:51 They collectively walk out to the hurt business music.
24:54 Each man gets their time on the mic to gloat about destroying Brock Lesnar and how no one
24:59 can stop them.
25:00 Bobby then takes the mic and says he's sick of being a nice guy and being screwed over.
25:05 First he was suspended and then Brock cost him the US title.
25:09 He knew that he needed to do things differently and he thanks MVP for reminding him of who
25:14 he truly was.
25:17 Bobby approaches Omos and buries the hatchet.
25:19 MVP gets on the mic and says "this time business will be booming for a long time".
25:24 The episode reaches its climax with a showdown between the hurt business and the returning
25:28 AJ Styles flanked by The OC, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, accompanied by Meechan.
25:34 The match ends in a no contest as both teams brawl all around the ring with the hurt business
25:39 getting the upper hand with Omos being the deciding factor.
25:43 In the build up to WrestleMania, the hurt business will continue in their rivalries
25:46 against The OC and Brock Lesnar.
25:48 The highly anticipated Lesnar vs Lashley match is set to culminate at WrestleMania.
25:53 Meanwhile, The OC is slated to take on Omos, Shelton and Cedric in a six man tag encounter
25:59 at Mania.
26:00 Following this, the eagerly awaited showdown between the hurt business and the bloodline
26:04 will come to fruition in an explosive eight man tag bout at Money in the Bank.
26:30 Is anyone else really distracted by him constantly cradling the kendo head?
26:38 I mean I enjoy it, you know, having a prop for the delivery, you know?
26:43 It's like a mascot, a really freaky mascot.
26:47 Because Oli's booked it as this epic sweeping tale that unfolds over several months.
26:52 It feels like less ambitious, if that's not too harsh of a word, but more plausible.
27:01 It's a much easier booking scenario for Bobby Lashley.
27:04 I was very confused on who was a babyface, who was a heel.
27:10 I think it's something that the fans are clamouring for so much.
27:13 Yeah.
27:14 That they'll be cheered.
27:15 Yeah, I agree.
27:16 It's very, I think it'll be difficult booking them in that scenario.
27:19 When Lesnar hits the F5 on Lashley, they're cheering for Lesnar to do another one.
27:25 We all love seeing Brock Lesnar obliterate anyone.
27:29 So yes.
27:30 Yeah, even in Sat's fantasy booking, the crowd aren't doing what he wants them to do.
27:35 I respect the realism of like, yeah, they're going to do it one more time.
27:38 The Brock will just do it.
27:40 You see people going back and forth between being heels and faces now and again.
27:44 And you've got to think they're going up against the bloodline.
27:46 Well, what happens there?
27:47 Yes.
27:48 In the main part of this, there is dissension between the members.
27:51 So that part is better.
27:53 That part is ticked off, yeah.
27:55 Very different to Oli's, which has happened over a very long period of time.
27:58 Has this one gone too far the other way?
28:00 Is it not let it breathe enough?
28:02 There's such polar opposite booking and there's definitely questions with each of them.
28:08 I'm going to allow them to defend their art.
28:11 Should we bring them in?
28:12 Yes.
28:13 And we can interrogate them a little bit on their conflicting plans.
28:17 Yes.
28:18 Do you want to bring them in?
28:19 Well, thank you for joining us, gentlemen.
28:23 First thing is nice of you to join us in person, Sat.
28:26 Obviously, you're taking this incredibly seriously.
28:29 We should consider that, really.
28:30 We should consider that.
28:31 We should consider that.
28:32 We should consider that.
28:34 We'll park that for a minute because the first question I think the three of us have is more
28:38 of a safety concern.
28:40 Oli, do you want to try and kill Bobby Lashley?
28:43 What was in there that would kill Bobby Lashley?
28:45 You're talking about an angle where he's going to be gaining loads of weight and be fat and
28:49 then out of nowhere, he's cut it all?
28:52 Like Christian Bale in a role?
28:55 People die from doing that.
28:56 Do you not know the dangers of yo-yo dieting?
28:58 Maybe this isn't shoot weight.
29:00 It's working weight.
29:01 So it's always a fat suit.
29:03 Is he wrestling in a full body soon?
29:05 If that's what is required to get me over the line in the safety concerns.
29:09 But then we said as well, we need to think about the dehydration concerns.
29:13 Well, short matches.
29:15 Is he just pretending to be fat, having little unimportant matches down the card when the
29:22 crowd are clamouring for more on Twitter?
29:24 Sorry, X.
29:25 Well, he'll be having the low effort matches regardless.
29:30 Till SummerSlam in the storyline.
29:32 And then when he comes back, he cannot be in shape, but he can be working getting in
29:37 shape.
29:38 He's sort of topping up the bits of his body with prosthetics.
29:40 Do you know the work involved for this?
29:43 I thought this was going to be mostly on the story.
29:46 Well, we haven't got to say.
29:47 But we need to know.
29:49 We liked the long delay of them getting back together, but there were a few points that
29:53 were skated over.
29:54 I didn't really hear you talk about much dissension between the Hurt Business for that.
29:58 So it takes them this long to get back together.
30:00 And then all of a sudden they're just all lovey dovey.
30:03 No, you win the championship.
30:04 No, you win the championship.
30:06 Bobby Lashley said he was all about business.
30:08 He decides, no, MVP, you put your career on the line.
30:11 I'll give you this to go out on.
30:13 Sounds like you're just trying to do a swerve, bro.
30:16 Just do a swerve.
30:17 But a nice swerve.
30:18 I think it's good booking.
30:19 Just a swerve.
30:20 Go ahead.
30:21 Friendship wins.
30:22 And the other note on that.
30:23 So War Games, the team can choose who enters.
30:27 You put Bobby Lashley last.
30:30 So at this point in the story, Bobby just wants to win the United States title.
30:34 MVP, Shelton and Cedric will do all the hard work.
30:38 And they're happy to do that.
30:40 Yeah.
30:41 Yeah, because they know deep down Bobby will help them in the end.
30:48 I feel like you're struggling.
30:49 I'm enjoying the sweat that his face is going all red.
30:53 I know how Bobby Lashley feels.
30:55 Yeah, we just have one last question about, well, Michael, it was your question about
31:00 the finish specifically.
31:01 Oh my God.
31:02 This chase for months, a month long chase of becoming United States champion, MVP.
31:10 And he just retires the next day.
31:12 It's lovely.
31:13 Yeah, I agree.
31:14 It's beautiful.
31:15 Is that what you think I'm going to do?
31:16 No, I think, I think a, that kind of diminishes the story that you create.
31:20 The belt, it's gone.
31:21 Maybe I'll be a manager, maybe I'm gone.
31:23 And the second thing, which is more important than that, winning with the playmaker.
31:30 War Games, winning with the crowd standing ovation.
31:34 They do the ball in.
31:35 Yeah, bam.
31:36 One, two, three.
31:37 No, no, you're like, you're right.
31:38 Pick them up.
31:39 Let's do the hook.
31:40 Let's do the playmaker.
31:41 I agree that.
31:42 Okay, well, okay.
31:43 I think we've heard all we need to say that.
31:44 Did you write that down?
31:45 I think we've heard more than we need.
31:46 We've got a lot of horrible.
31:47 It'd be much nicer to get free Simon Cowell's.
31:54 I love the business.
31:56 So that's where you've gone wrong.
31:58 All right, sat, sat, sat, sat, sat, sat.
32:01 Um, I see it.
32:03 Oh, so he's quite sad.
32:06 I'm ready.
32:09 Let's see.
32:12 Have you rushed this?
32:13 No, I haven't.
32:14 I haven't watched it.
32:15 So I just don't know if I'm believing what I'm hearing.
32:16 I just got a few days to get it started.
32:17 I hope that you don't have to take months to draw out a reunion.
32:18 You can get done over one cycle before this man comes back and messes everything up and
32:19 pretends nothing happened.
32:20 One of the kind of most beloved fashions in recent history.
32:21 I think it's a bit of a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
32:22 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
32:23 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
32:24 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
32:25 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
32:26 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
32:49 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
33:17 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
33:24 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
33:33 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
33:41 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
33:48 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
33:57 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
34:05 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
34:15 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
34:25 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
34:45 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
35:05 I think it's a shame that it's not a thing anymore.
35:23 I want to make a difference.
35:25 My coaching was based on realism.
35:28 What more can I say?
35:30 I didn't have any extracurricular activity.
35:32 I went for a more realistic approach to how to put them back together.
35:35 In terms of what to do next, I let that out of everyone's imagination.
35:39 I love the artist. I miss him.
35:41 Yeah, that's it. Thank you.
35:44 At this point, I think we've heard more than enough.
35:46 More than enough.
35:47 So if you two could just sit in silence for a moment and think about what you've done.
35:51 And each of us will write who we think should advance through to the semifinals of Fantasy Booking Warfare.
35:59 Judging panel have reached their decision.
36:25 First up, Michael Oku.
36:27 I've decided to choose the booker that is akin to my tastes, is akin to what I feel is more logical, more emotional, just tells the best story.
36:49 I want you both to know this has been tough because this has been tough because I admire both of your different types of creativity in your own way.
37:06 Both of these have potential.
37:08 Both are problematic.
37:11 In one case, there's a danger someone might die.
37:15 However, one does have a more epic sweeping scale than the other.
37:23 And for that reason, despite its problems.
37:28 And that leads me down to the deciding votes. Both have things that confuse me. But in the end, I went for the one that had the most emotion.
37:48 And with that, that is decided. It is a clean sweep.
37:52 Oli Davis, congratulations. You're going through to the semifinals.
37:56 Sat, do you have any words?
37:58 I want to thank you guys for this. This is a fix. I actually won. This is complete BS.
38:06 But you know what? I'll take you on the chin. Congratulations, Oli.
38:10 The better one this time.
38:12 Why would you let me win this time?
38:14 Oli, you won.
38:16 Yeah, yeah.
38:17 Thank you very much.
38:20 Oli is so great. He's so lovely over there. And he's Thunderdome. Yeah, put a lot of effort in.
38:27 Even though there are flaws and potential health and safety risks.
38:30 You are in the semifinals, but I think we would all agree you are going to need to seriously up your game.
38:35 There's definitely work to be done.
38:37 I'll do a risk assessment for you next time.
38:39 Congratulations, Oli. You're in the semifinals.
38:42 And so, Oli Davis eliminates Sat and moves on to the semifinal.
38:47 Who will join him? Tune in next week for another episode of Fantasy Booking Warfare.
38:53 Oh, wow. Amazing. They didn't overbook that. They overbooked everything.
38:57 Okay, great. Okay, well, they probably overbooked the match.
39:00 By all means, I'm sure.
39:01 Boy, did they.
39:03 Paul Bearish tried to f***ing flashlight me under Tigger's face.
39:07 He'd only come back a week earlier.
39:10 And then he turned on him.
