00:02 - Game number two of this double header DRS
00:05 in Philadelphia tonight.
00:06 It's the Phillies and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
00:09 The D-backs back into an NLCS for the first time
00:12 in nearly a decade and a half.
00:14 Philly here for a second consecutive year.
00:17 But this time around Donnie,
00:19 the Phil's have home field advantage at the bank.
00:22 Minus 162 on that money line in favor of Philadelphia.
00:26 It's the battle of Zach's.
00:28 Wheeler on one side for Philly.
00:30 Gallon on the other for the D-backs.
00:32 DRS, what do you expect the atmosphere
00:35 to be like tonight at the bank?
00:36 And what will it mean for the result of game number one
00:39 of the National League Championship Series?
00:42 - Yeah, Red October continues here in Philadelphia
00:45 and I expect a really hard fought battle.
00:46 Why?
00:47 Because both of these pitchers are really good.
00:49 And just bringing up the topics of,
00:50 in Major League Baseball,
00:51 if you wanna buy into, hey, a couple days off here,
00:54 not really good for the batters,
00:55 but much, much better for the pitchers here,
00:57 and you're gonna live on an under in this one
00:59 'cause Zach Gallon is really good, as we said,
01:00 and so is Zach Wheeler.
01:02 Both of those numbers are tremendous here.
01:04 We're waiting on the bats here
01:05 to wake up for the Philadelphia Phillies.
01:06 There's, I wanna say, some key bats here,
01:08 like Kyle Schwarber.
01:09 If you take a look at the Arizona Diamondbacks,
01:11 they basically, their bats have been woken up
01:13 this entire postseason run.
01:15 It's a smaller ballpark in Philadelphia.
01:16 We understand that.
01:17 But you're not getting 88, 89 degrees at first pitch here
01:20 with the wind blowing out.
01:21 You're gonna get a playoff atmosphere,
01:23 which means both of these teams
01:24 might be a little bit tense to start.
01:26 I don't anticipate the pitchers on either side struggling.
01:29 And what I mean by struggling is, Ben,
01:30 five innings pitched, five earned runs
01:32 by either one of these guys.
01:33 And talking to you over the break here,
01:35 also, we're in game number one.
01:37 These aren't kitchen sink games here.
01:38 Game number one of a three-game set,
01:40 yeah, you can't afford to lose that game.
01:41 You're burning everything in your bullpen
01:43 to try to stave off going down 0-1
01:45 where you need to win back-to-back games just to stay alive.
01:48 Even in a five-game series,
01:49 it's a little bit more condensed here.
01:51 Seven-game series,
01:52 you're gonna let your pitchers pitch here.
01:54 You're not going through the bullpen right away
01:55 in the fifth inning and bringing your closer
01:57 to put out a fire.
01:58 That's not happening.
01:59 So both of these pitchers should go.
02:00 It's just a matter of which teams
02:02 are gonna capitalize on those mistakes,
02:04 which will be limited by both of these pitchers.
02:06 FanDue opened up at a -138 price
02:08 for the Philadelphia Phillies.
02:09 Now we're seeing it into the mid-160s here at this point.
02:12 And I do believe the Phillies are the better ball club
02:15 and they're at home and should win this game.
02:16 Am I really excited to be laying a -168?
02:19 Not necessarily.
02:20 I would like to see that 7.5, which is nice, stay there,
02:23 because getting eight to go over there
02:25 for where you're losing, as opposed to seven,
02:27 gets that push and you gotta stay under six.
02:29 I lean towards an under in Philadelphia
02:30 with the Philadelphia Phillies winning the game here, Ben.
