Transport group MANIBELA conducts a protest along East Avenue in Quezon City as part of the group’s nationwide strike against phasing out of traditional jeepneys, alleged corruption inside the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), and other transport issues on Monday, Oct. 16.
The group claims that even though they didn't paralize the traffic since major transport groups did not participate in the strike, their protest has still led to disruptions and the suspension of in-person classes and caught the attention of the public. (MB Video by Noel B. Pabalate)
