00:14 and so there's, of course, more representations of queer people.
00:17 We've seen a dramatic shift in how we represent queer and trans identities,
00:22 in that we represent trans identities at all.

00:27 The real difference is primarily focused on younger people,
00:30 as a group for whom the gay issue is a civil rights issue.
00:34 So it's easy to take for granted the abundant roles that we have on television
00:38 for LGBTQ characters today, but it wasn't always this way.
