Last night, Kate joined her husband Prince William at the first awards ceremony for his environmental Earthshot Prize. The ceremony, which took place at Alexandra Palace in London, saw five winners being recognised for their work helping to tackle climate change and environmental issues. Each winner received a prize of £1million to further develop their initiatives. During the event, Kate spoke of the importance of the “thriving natural world” and the role it plays in helping both our physical and mental health.
