00:00 So it's the 40th anniversary celebrations of Simonside outdoor activities. Can you tell

00:09 us a little bit about what's going to be on celebrating the anniversary itself?

00:13 So there's a whole range of activities taking place over this week. We've got interchangeable

00:19 activities between here at Simonside Climbing Wall and Thurston Outdoor Education Centre

00:23 as well. So we've got staff going between the two sites and a whole range of other activities

00:27 taking place to celebrate the 40th anniversary. And how do you think the services benefited

00:32 the community over the past four years? So the youth service and the outdoor education

00:36 service are deeply embedded in South Tyneside's community. All of our schools engage with either

00:41 the Simonside Climbing Wall, the Water Activity Centre, Thurston is a really, really big thing for

00:46 primary school and secondary school children to go and engage with as well. So it just provides

00:51 our young people with a whole range of opportunities and physical activity and

00:55 things like that. It's fantastic.
