Prince William young: How Duke struggled to make bond with Charles ‒ 'remote figure'

William will attend the Tusk Conservation Awards tonight to celebrate African-based conservation leaders. Now in its ninth year, the Tusk Awards, which were launched by the Duke of Cambridge himself, will be held at the British Film Institute in London.  William, who is the royal patron of Tusk, said: “These awards, which mean a great deal to me personally, play a huge part in our mission to preserve Africa’s precious wildlife for its people.  “It is vital that we recognise the dedication of these unsung heroes and the bravery of rangers risking their lives, day and night, on conservation’s frontline.  “We all owe them a huge debt of gratitude.” The Duke of Cambridge has followed in his fa ...
