The husband of Elton John will be part of the team behind Pearl, a new project for the streaming service, which will be both created and produced by the Duchess of Sussex. Earlier this year, Meghan revealed that the series would focus on a “12-year-old heroine who finds inspiration in influential women from history”. Speaking at the Hello! Inspiration Awards, Mr Furnish described the Duchess as a “fantastic collaborator” and “amazing leader”.
