00:02 My kids are gonna be way more impressed.

00:04 - Mine will still call me cringe, it's fine.

00:06 - Oh, my 10 year old is the worst.

00:08 - That's like the word right now with like fifth graders.

00:11 - I'd dad the (beep) out of my kids, my wife too.

00:16 - I have a one year old girl and a 15 year old girl.

00:20 My daughter would have been sandwiched right in between

00:24 - Sorry, I didn't know you had one that passed away.

00:26 - Yeah, drowned, 19 months.

00:29 - Oh, my God.

00:30 - That was brutal.

00:32 Let herself out the back door

00:33 and just jumped right into our neighbor's pool.

00:40 - Uh, Emmy.

00:44 - How do you deal with something like that?

00:49 - It does not go away.

00:58 - This is such a weird thing that I never knew until,

01:01 you know, you grieve is that you feel guilty

01:04 for feeling happy.

01:05 Or even if you have a moment of happiness,

01:07 you're like, oh, my God, am I gonna get judged

01:10 for feeling happy?

01:10 Like I shouldn't feel happy.

01:11 - It's so conflicting.

01:12 It's one of the strangest things.

01:14 - I lost Bob last year and it has changed me in so many ways

01:20 to have gone through that trauma.

01:22 It doesn't really get worse than that.

01:24 - Like the wave is going to come and hit you.

01:26 - Yeah, it's going to, it comes, it comes.

01:29 I would say grief is probably the most effective

01:35 at screwing you up.

01:36 When the worst possible thing you can imagine happens,

01:41 you have to celebrate that you made it through.

01:43 It's wrong to say you find a silver lining,

01:46 but you manage, you continue.
