Do you agree with the plans for Debenhams in Sheffield city centre?

00:00 Yeah, if they turned it into some sort of food hall, food market, and maybe a few other things as well.
00:07 You know, if it goes down that route of having food stalls, maybe they could attach some sort of clothing stalls,
00:16 or jewellery store stalls, or small independent sort of shops and things.
00:21 So yeah, that would work. That would probably bring a few more people in to actually shop, rather than eating and drinking.
00:29 That's good, but it perhaps needs a few other things along with it to help it along the way, you know.
00:36 An artisan food market with lots of independent stall holders, craft bakers, that kind of thing.
00:43 When you look at Forge Bakery, how successful they've been queuing out the door, there's a big demand in the century floor, things like that.
00:49 And I would have guessed that on what, you know, four or five floors, you could probably get maybe 50 odd different retailers in.
00:56 Might be an idea, but at the minute it's a real white elephant.
00:59 And there's only a few gaps now on the moor, so fill that, and I think you'd probably fill the whole space a lot more.
