00:02 DRS, we let off the show with a little bit of news about Devon Achan.
00:07 Of course, the outstanding rookie running back for the Miami Dolphins.
00:10 A big play threat, an explosive offensive piece for Mike McDaniel and
00:15 Miami that is averaging more than 12 yards per carry.
00:19 He had a buck 51 on Sunday in the win over the Giants 31-16.
00:25 Mike McDaniel spoke to the media yesterday, Donny, on Monday, or
00:29 on Monday afternoon, pretty much saying Devon Achan was dealing with
00:34 a knee injury and left it at that.
00:37 Well, ESPN's Adam Schefter, early on this Tuesday morning, Donny, right side,
00:42 reporting that according to his sources, Achan is likely to be put on the IR,
00:47 that knee injury may be a little bit more significant, then led on.
00:51 If he's placed on the injured reserve,
00:53 that would mean that Achan is missing the next month for Miami.
00:57 >> It's not devastating news because again, if he's not gonna be out for
01:00 the year, what are you waiting for?
01:01 Let's get into the playoffs, let's get healthy at that point.
01:04 Jalen Ramsey comes back, you get the drift on that.
01:07 But having said that, what a luxury he was.
01:09 My goodness, like Raheem Mostert's a quality running back that can hit
01:11 home runs, and then you had Babe Ruth behind him, who hits even more home runs.
01:16 It felt like every single game that now he was getting the football,
01:19 you expected at least a 50 plus yard run for a touchdown out of Achan.
01:24 And he was providing that.
01:25 You look at a track team outside at the wide receiving core,
01:29 you had a track team in the backfield, just that tailback here.
01:32 One of those guys is down, and the one thing you do worry about a little bit is,
01:35 yes, Mostert can carry it.
01:36 But Mostert also, quite frankly, is made of glass as well, and
01:40 could go down at any time,
01:41 which is the reason why he's bounced around to a few football teams.
01:44 He is a very good back, but now, can he cover the load here?
01:47 15 carries, 20 carries a game, which is what you're going to see.
01:50 It's a shame, cuz the Miami Dolphins are really fun and still will be really fun.
01:54 But I guess if you're just looking at, okay, we still have some hope,
01:57 he's not down for the season, you'll get him ready for the playoff run.
