The unprecedented Israel-Gaza conflict has shocked the world, over 1,100 people have lost their lives. After Hamas’ surprise attack on Israel, PM Netanyahu immediately declared a state of war. Israel smells Iran’s involvement in helping Hamas to launch an airstrike on Israeli land. IDF Spokesperson Major Libby Weiss claimed that Iran played a role in Hamas’ actions. On the other hand, Palestine's Envoy to India, Adnan Abu Al Haija rejected claims of Iran’s involvement. Notably, Iran termed the attacks by Hamas on Israel as an act of ‘self-defence’ by Palestine. As per Reuters, State television showed Iran parliament members rising from their seats to chant "Palestine is victorious, Israel will be destroyed".
