00:00 But as I warned you last week you could be possibly facing something that you don't want
00:07 to face.
00:08 You know what that is.
00:09 And we'll talk about that later on.
00:10 So you can defend.
00:11 But I do need you on the record.
00:13 Are you now predicting the Dallas Cowboys will miss the playoff.
00:17 Nobody teased it for later.
00:20 But I just need an upfront on record prediction.
00:23 Do I predict there's a possibility.
00:25 Not a possibility.
00:26 There's a possibility.
00:27 Reality.
00:28 I can't say I can't say a reality.
00:30 I need facts.
00:31 I can't say that.
00:32 You want facts.
00:33 I got a couple more.
00:34 You want more facts.
00:35 Because then I get here's a fact that I can promise you they ain't gonna win the damn
00:39 division.
00:40 I can promise you that.
00:41 You know you know what I can promise you.
00:42 I can promise you this.
00:43 There ain't no Super Bowl for you.
00:45 But I'll let you go.
00:46 I promise you that too.
00:47 Ain't going no Super Bowl.
00:48 I can promise you that.
00:49 All right.
00:50 You each still owe me a dinner.
00:51 Yeah you get that.
00:52 It'd be the best dinner I ever gave you Skip and I laugh all the way.
00:54 I'm ready to bet you another dinner each that the Dallas Cowboys will bounce back and will
01:00 make the playoffs if you're willing to take that bet right here right now.
01:04 Don't care.
01:05 Don't care.
01:06 Nope.
01:07 Or afraid.
01:08 Afraid.
01:09 No no no no Skip it's an irrelevant erroneous point because they're going home.
01:12 They're not a relevant team in this league.
01:14 Afraid.
01:15 OK.
01:16 I got both of them on record.
01:17 They're both afraid to accept that bet because they're still afraid.
01:18 You just lost by 32.
01:20 OK.
01:21 I'm going to warn both of you.
01:23 Please.
01:24 This is you got to slow your roll.
01:26 I'm going to warn both of you.
01:27 Please warn as you well know it's a long long season.
01:32 It's only just now.
01:33 Those skip.
01:34 Hmm.
01:35 Hmm.
01:36 I will give you this.
01:38 The 49ers last night maxed out.
01:42 We crapped out.
01:44 They played virtually the best game they can play.
01:48 There are little things here and there Brock pretty missed a couple of throws.
01:50 He got a couple batted down at the line of scrimmage.
01:53 But overall I'm not sure they can play much better than they played last night.
01:57 How much better I am sure I am sure we cannot play worse than we can.
02:02 We cannot play worse.
02:04 The Dallas Cowboys are still a good football team.
02:07 The 49ers just might be a great as in all time great football team.
02:12 And we're going to talk about this a little later because you have to give them a shot
02:16 if you look down their schedule if they can stay healthy of winning every freaking game
02:21 left on their schedule.
02:23 And I'm talking about all the way through the Super Bowl because that's how good they
02:27 looked last night.
02:29 Don't want it.
02:30 All right.
02:32 Now here's the point about last night.
02:36 I knew what my quarterback was and what he was.
02:39 I've been saying this for three years.
02:40 I keep trying to just barely cling to him and I just barely hang on and I go by a New
02:45 Jersey and I say OK maybe maybe this time he can stay out of the way and maybe can get
02:51 off a little hot and maybe can get in some comfort zone and maybe they can actually run
02:55 the football around him and take some of the heat and discomfort off him because he never
03:00 looks comfortable against San Francisco at all.
03:03 This is three straight losses the last two obviously the previous two in the playoffs.
03:08 You look at his QB are it's under 50.
03:11 It's a very good defense he's up against but they have his psychological number.
03:16 He is deer in headlights.
03:18 I know what he is but most of all I know what he's not.
03:22 And I've been saying it for year after year after year.
03:26 And now I'm done done done with Dak Prescott.
03:29 You have to just try to work around him and overcome him.
03:32 There is this kid named Trey Lance.
03:34 I'm a big fan and there is a chance at some point we get to see some.
03:38 So now I can't.
03:39 No no no no no.
03:40 Now back to the real problem of last night.
03:45 The reason I picked Dallas to win the game was I thought that Dallas's pass rush was
03:50 a little better than San Francisco's and I still believe it can be a little better.
03:55 And I thought that because San Francisco had to replace two offensive linemen from last
03:59 year I thought maybe they're slightly vulnerable especially over on that.
04:04 It'd be if you face their left side of the line.
04:07 I thought maybe that my oh my 11 from heaven wouldn't actually sort of go to heaven.
04:13 It's like he was gone last night.
04:14 Maybe we already held it.
04:16 Maybe you went to heaven.
04:17 I don't know.
04:18 But my biggest fear off last night my biggest concern was not my quarterback because that
04:22 didn't shock me.
04:24 My biggest concern is that Micah Parsons as you both stated and drove home the stake through
04:31 my heart.
04:32 He was nowhere to be found.
04:34 He had a couple of little flashes but you realize our pressure rate thanks to him coming
04:39 into this game was 49 percent.
04:42 That by far led the NFL.
04:44 Last night guess what it was 15 percent.
04:47 Well you're going to lose because my whole team is driven.
04:51 It is rocket fueled by the ability to rush the passer terrorize the passer finally make
04:57 him see ghosts get him flinching a little off target and my defense takes away the football
05:03 and little Jordan Lewis who's even smaller than Christian McCaffrey.
05:07 All I got was one turnover where he actually pulled it out of Christian McCaffrey's hands
05:12 as he was getting run over near the goal line.
05:14 He pulled it out of his hands.
05:15 Way to go.
05:16 We had one sack last night and it came on what looked to me like a broken play in which
05:21 Brock Purdy was actually running with the football.
05:24 He was taken off to run with it and curse came all the way across the formation because
05:28 he was blitzing from the weak side the backside and he ran him down for a two yard loss.
05:34 Does that even qualify as a sack.
05:36 Not in my book because it wasn't even he wasn't trying to throw the football he's trying to
05:40 just escape and run with the football.
05:42 It was devastating to me.
05:44 It was horrifying.
05:46 It was pure one thousand deep tear your guts out anguish to me that Micah Parsons didn't
05:55 remotely take the game over.
05:56 No he didn't.
05:57 So so my biggest problem is that my pass rush put no heat on a Brock Purdy who just keeps
06:04 sitting back there like he's playing soft toss catch.
06:07 He just keeps lobbying little radar rainbows into the zone like like he's a wizard.
06:14 I've never seen anything like it before.
06:15 Skip though.
06:16 Skip skip skip.
06:17 I appreciate all that pontificating but I don't care.
06:21 I don't care what you're talking about.
06:24 Dallas Cowboys got their faces kicked in on both sides of the football.
06:29 There was 10 point.
06:30 They had one touchdown turban because they under they underestimated and they ran a bit
06:35 of a bad call.
06:36 Bad coverage.
06:37 They were played by him.
06:38 One touchdown.
06:39 It was lucky.
06:40 We didn't have to talk about your red zone.
06:41 It wasn't.
06:42 We didn't.
06:43 We didn't have to talk about your red zone because you never got to the red zone because
06:46 you played against a defense that is not going to allow a bad offense to get there.
06:51 I told you for the past couple of weeks.
06:53 I told you for the past couple of weeks that this office wasn't there.
06:57 And you said we didn't need to be against the Giants.
06:59 We didn't need to be against the Patriots.
07:02 We didn't need to.
07:03 You need to get the Niners.
07:04 And guess what.
07:05 The Giants wasn't there because they weren't there all season.
07:07 You're not going to just show up against the best defense in the National Football League.
07:11 We're not going to talk about pretending, pretending, pretending.
07:14 You guys are flash plays.
07:16 The Dallas Cowboys are a flash.
07:18 They're a flash.
07:19 Hey, we're highlights.
07:20 We want to dance.
07:21 We want to celebrate.
07:22 And you want to you don't want to be physical.
07:23 You don't want to get down and dirty.
07:25 You watch George Kittle.
07:26 You watch George Kittle against 11 from heaven.
07:29 That man is in a bar fight every single time.
07:31 And they don't mind leaving George Kittle on 11, one on one, on run plays, running to
07:36 him.
07:37 There aren't many tight ends in National Football League.
07:38 Let me give you a little bit to chew on.
07:39 Okay, okay.
07:40 My bad.
07:41 I just want a little bit.
07:42 My bad.
07:43 My bad.
07:44 My bad.
07:45 So you just, you mentioned the defense and the pressure rate and all that sort of stuff
07:50 and everything about the quarterback.
07:51 And I tried to warn you and Michael.
07:56 You played against the damn Giants and Daniel Jones.
07:59 You saw Daniel Jones.
08:00 I'm telling you, you know what that looked like.
08:02 Seattle, we love it.
08:03 Okay.
08:04 You saw that they played against Zach Wilson, who, by the way, has played better than the
08:09 last game.
08:10 But when y'all played against his eyeballs was this big.
08:13 And if you saw Brees Hall yesterday against the Denver Broncos, they didn't use it for
08:17 whatever reason because they get to Dallas Cowboys, whatever you want to call it.
08:21 They couldn't whatever.
08:23 Then you go to Arizona and you let a backup to a backup to a backup to backup to backup,
08:29 calm you down and just get rid of your knowledge.
08:32 And then you ran into a dude that's been benched twice in the last two weeks at Mac Jones.
08:37 You ran into offenses, man, that were not good.
08:42 And I tried to tell you that you screamed at me.
08:44 You pound the desk.
08:45 You told me I'm foolish.
08:46 You and Michael, I'm just a hater, all of those sort of things.
08:50 You are.
08:51 I'm not.
08:52 I don't care.
08:53 I don't have a dog in the fight.
08:54 Yeah, I do.
08:55 You're trying to get your brain to be stimulated at a certain level.
09:01 Get out of this delusional state that you're in about the Dallas Cowboys winning a Super
09:07 Bowl and slow it down.
09:09 OK, now you say they're going to make the playoffs.
09:12 They may make the playoffs.
09:14 I'm not saying that they may make it.
09:17 But you do realize they got the Chargers who's coming off a bye.
09:22 They'll be well rested with a big old tall drink of water and quarterback 6'6", probably
09:27 230 with a rifle.
09:28 Who's their offensive coordinator?
09:30 Kellen Moore.
09:31 So he knows Dan Quinn.
09:33 He knows that defense.
09:34 He's practiced against it.
09:35 He's game plan in scrimmages in the summer camps against it.
09:40 So that's it.
09:41 But then you get a bye.
09:44 So you get to get everybody healthy or whatever.
09:47 Then you got the Rams at home.
09:48 The Rams, they're not-- look, they ain't sleepwalking.
09:53 And you know how they play the Cowboys really tough.
09:56 You don't have any answers for 99.
09:57 Then you get against Jalen Hurts and those Philadelphia Eagles.
10:01 Oh, Lord have mercy.
10:03 So when you start to look at that, you have to admit skill.
10:08 When the Cowboys was being taken to the woodshed last night, you started to think, this may
10:15 be exactly what Keyshawn Johnson was saying.
10:19 We may wind up possibly missing the playoffs or falling into the last seed.
10:25 You have to admit that.
10:26 OK, I got a dinner bet on the table right now, miss the playoffs.
10:30 Will either of you accept that bet?
10:31 For what?
10:32 No, I'm not.
10:33 I'm not going to--
10:34 Hey, hey, hey, dinner bet.
10:35 Dinner bet, they won't make the Super Bowl.
10:37 OK, well--
10:38 Go way out on the limb.
10:40 I'm actually going out on the limb to say they're going to make the playoffs.
10:43 That's not out on the limb.
10:44 They should make the playoffs.
10:45 They have the, what, third hardest scorer in the nation?
10:46 They should make the playoffs.
10:47 They should make the playoffs.
10:48 They should make the playoffs after last night?
10:49 They should make the playoffs after last--
10:50 They're favored.
10:51 They're favored.
10:52 Yeah, after the way you just talked about them?
10:54 They're favored because they played a great team.
10:56 I'm giving you facts, Skip.
10:57 They're just absolute garbage?
10:58 Skip, Skip, I'm giving you real facts, man.
11:00 All right, now here's what I saw last night.
11:01 I'm going to start from the start because McCarthy wins the toss and he defers.
11:05 Mm-hmm, mistake.
11:06 You know, you think, oh, I got a better-- my defense is better than my offense.
11:10 That's what you thought?
11:11 That's what you thought.
11:12 And then-- That's what you thought.
11:13 I'm going to show you what happened on the first play of the game.
11:16 If I could show you what Donovan Wilson did.
11:18 This is where I immediately tweeted, this is a really bad sign.
11:21 Mm-hmm, face mask.
11:22 So they call system McCaffrey and he gets his little two, three yards.
11:25 And Donovan Wilson comes flying up from the safety position and just grabs him by the
11:29 mask.
11:30 Mm-hmm.
11:31 You can't.
11:32 It's poor coaching.
11:33 It's poor preparation.
11:34 It's poor focus.
11:35 It's just something that good teams do not do on the first play of a big game of that
11:40 magnitude.
11:41 And Richard knows this.
11:42 By the way, Richard, I got a quick question.
11:44 Is Dan Quinn overrated?
11:45 Is that possible?
11:46 Nope.
11:47 Nope.
11:48 He just doesn't have the talent like he did in Seattle with elite players at every level
11:52 who are really killers.
11:53 All right.
11:54 So I knew that that was a bad sign and it became a worse sign because San Francisco
11:58 goes 75 and 11 plays, 75 yards and 11 with not even going to third down one time.
12:04 And I just said, that's a joke.
12:06 And that is-- it is indicative of what's going to happen.
12:09 Going back to look at my Twitter timeline, I said, that's no good.
12:13 And then Dax first throw of the night.
12:15 I need to know about Dax first throw because he'll make it-- if he'll just make a nice
12:19 easy six, seven yard throw to CD Lamb, he'll get in some kind of comfort zone.
12:23 But he goes to the rookie, figure it out, Luke Schoomaker.
12:27 And let me show you this throw because--
12:29 Air mill.
12:30 The man is open.
12:31 The man is open.
12:32 In fact, he's wide open and he misses him five yards high.
12:36 And I immediately tweet, that is a really bad sign.
12:39 Give him something easy, man.
12:40 You can't give him nothing hard.
12:41 OK.
12:42 It was a harder throw, but Luke Schoomaker is just-- he's just running wide open.
12:46 And he's like six, four, five.
12:48 Just hit him.
12:49 Just hit-- you missed him by five yards because you're over amped and you're deer in headlights
12:53 and you're choking your guts out.
12:54 That's what's happening.
12:55 All right.
12:56 Then we go to-- we have a third down play.
12:59 We stop you guys.
13:01 And because you're you guys.
