00:15 up creepy guys. Check it out. Do you think it's creepy? Yeah, I know right? Those were
00:20 knives in her hands. They couldn't be real, right?
00:31 But then fans noticed something a little strange in a follow up video that she posted. Britney
00:36 Spears seemed to have gotten some cuts on her body while dancing with these knives.
00:42 Allegedly. In the newer video of her dancing that she posted to Instagram, Britney had
00:47 a white bandage around her arm. As well as she also showed what looked like a cut on
01:00 her upper thigh as she danced in a polka dot top with a white bikini bottom. And on that
01:06 video this is what she captioned it on Instagram. "My pretty woman top kinda cool after my briefing
01:13 on polka dots. Swipe to see both." Ok, so she's getting some attention here. But her
01:20 fans started getting really concerned and just bombarding her with comments. Because
01:26 the visible injuries appeared the day after, Britney caused a lot of concern among her
01:30 fans when she shared that video where she was dancing with those two knives. And in
01:35 the video, Britney, she seems smiling and she's dancing like she normally does in her
01:42 Instagram videos. And she's wearing the same outfit from the video before so it made
01:47 people think like, hey, you know, is she actually hurting herself here? What's going on? And
01:53 one thing that caused people to get even more concerned is that at first the caption on
01:57 that video said, "I started playing in the kitchen with knives today." Yeah, I'm
02:04 literally getting horror movie vibes here. However, she later updated that caption to
02:09 reassure everybody and this is what she said, "Don't worry, they are not real knives.
02:15 Halloween is soon." I don't know about that one, Britney. You know, you're saying
02:20 that the knives aren't real but the only thing that doesn't seem real is the caption.
02:25 The fact that she had to update it after everybody got so concerned. But guys, like, what do
02:30 you think? Real or fake when it comes to the knives? Strangely enough though, this isn't
02:40 the first time that Britney Spears has been associated with knives. This is not a new
02:44 thing at all and the story gets a little more creepy. So we go back to May of 2023 where
02:50 TMZ reported in the documentary Britney Spears, The Price of Freedom.
02:55 "People closest to her feared for her safety. An alarming recommendation, keep knives away
03:00 from her."
03:01 That Britney Spears had a long standing fascination with knives and she would keep them under
03:06 her bed. According to the documentary, Britney Spears lives in constant fear that somebody
03:11 might break into her home at night and restrain her and take her to a psychiatric ward. So
03:18 this got so concerning that towards the end of her 13 year conservatorship,
03:24 Britney Spears has had a year and a half of freedom since the conservatorship ended.
03:29 Access to knives was restricted for Britney. Even her husband, who she's divorcing, Sam
03:35 Asghari, was warned that he should, and I quote, "be afraid to sleep without one eye
03:42 open if she gets pissed." Why? Because she's more than capable of hurting him. That was
03:48 literally the warning that he got.
03:50 Also Britney Spears' younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, claimed in her 2022 memoir, Things
03:56 I Should Have Said, that her older sister, Britney, locked them in a room one time and
04:01 she threatened her with the knife. Britney, of course, has denied these allegations and
04:08 to address those allegations, Britney wrote in a now deleted tweet back in January of
04:13 2022 saying this, "I've never been around you ever with a knife or would I ever think
04:19 to do such. The only knife I ever saw you with at home was cutting the biggest pieces
04:25 of squash I ever saw in my life and it was way too big for me to cut." Britney Spears
04:31 also posted another follow up video of her dancing with no knives this time and also
04:37 no apparent marks on her body. And in the caption, this is what she told everybody,
04:42 "Lighten up about the knives. I'm copying Shakira." This, by the way, was a reference
04:47 to Shakira's performance at the 2023 MTV VMAs where she performed with knives.
