00:00 Why did the Netherlands choose bowling first and why after winning the toss?
00:07 I'm not too sure. The captain and coach put a lot of thought into that.
00:12 I think they had the impression that it was our best chance of winning.
00:19 I think we did put ourselves in great positions, but we couldn't hold that pressure for long enough, which was a shame.
00:28 What went wrong for you, especially when you bowled extremely well?
00:36 I think we started really well and then allowed them to get a partnership together.
00:46 They batted well throughout that period. I think in the end, in the death, we probably let them get 20 runs too many.
00:57 Then, betting-wise, it's the same again. We put ourselves in a good position and then lost three wickets in quick time,
01:06 which put us on the back foot. It was tough to recover from that.
01:10 Which of those four wickets did you particularly enjoy the most?
01:17 I think the ball to Mahamed Rizwan was nice.
01:25 Were you happy with the 280? Where did you think the batting slip-up happened?
01:43 If you offered us to bowl Pakistan out for 280 before the game, we would have taken it.
01:50 I think we were happy in that sense, but if we could keep them down to 20 less, it would have been even better in the position we were in.
02:01 Then, batting-wise, 120 for two was obviously a good position for us.
02:07 I think it was the wickets that were our downfall.
02:13 We lost Vikram, then lost Teja, then lost Scott Edwards in quite a quick couple of overs, which put us on the back foot.
02:24 It's tough to then go on and put up another partnership and try and win the game.
02:31 You did all you could with batting and ball, but how was it facing the likes of Haris Tov, who is an unusually quick bowler?
02:44 I enjoy it. Obviously, he's quick, but I enjoyed the battle.
02:51 Everything has to be a bit quicker, so it's a good challenge for us.
02:57 I think it's good to face a guy like that in the first game of the tournament.
03:03 It's obviously different, so hopefully guys can get used to a face like that again and use it for the rest of the tournament.
03:12 When you started the chase against the Pacers, it was pretty much good going. But once the Spinners came in, it felt like, especially Vikram, a little bogged down.
03:26 You also were not able to get those runs freely. Was it something that you also felt like against the Spinners?
03:34 I think they balled really well. It wasn't the easiest wicket to face Spinn on because some did turn.
03:47 We also put a lot of preparation into facing Spinn. I still think we could have won that game with the middle we had.
04:00 But it is always tough to face quality Spinners.
04:07 Last we saw you play one superb shot for six over mid-wicket off Navas, the left-arm Spinner.
04:14 In county cricket, you're wired to play fast bowling differently on seeming wickets.
04:20 Can you take us through the kind of work you had to put into better your game against Spinn?
04:27 Before I went to India, I spoke to a couple of people that have experience here and asked them what they think overseas batters need to succeed against Spinn in India.
04:45 I tried to pick line and length up quicker than I'm used to. It's probably also thinking about a game plan before the game.
05:03 Talking to the coaches helps a lot.
05:06 What are the plans for the next match?
05:22 They beat England quite comfortably the other day, which was great to see from a cricketing point of view.
05:32 I really enjoyed watching that. I think every team in this competition has a quality bowling attack.
05:40 I'm sure it's a mixture of coming up with a game plan and preparing for that.
05:50 Obviously, you've got Henry at the start, who's been excellent, and Trent Boult, similar to Shaheen, probably.
05:56 Lockie Ferguson, probably similar to Haris Ralf.
05:58 So, a lot of similarities, but I think we'll take our learnings from this game and try and adapt for next game.
