A commuter was pulled to safety by police after she slipped into the gap between a moving train and the platform.

Sunita Singh only sustained "minor injuries" thanks to the quick reactions of a Railway Protection Force officer.

She slipped at platform number five of the Barddhaman junction in eastern India's West Bengal while getting off the train on October 5.

The officer and his colleague held onto her arms and pulled her to safety.
