Government urged to give private health out of hospital care

The government is being urged by the nation's doctors to consider greater use of the private healthcare to ease pressure on the hard-pressed public system. The Australian Medical Association says it would free up tens of thousands of hospital beds and save millions of taxpayer dollars.
