CAAP says imprisonment, fines await bomb joke perpetrators

00:00 The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines or CAAP has warned the public against making bomb joke remarks.
00:06 This was after a bomb joke was made in the Bicol International Airport yesterday when flight 5J326 of Cebu Pacific Airlines
00:14 was about to depart and the crew discovered a crumpled piece of paper with the word bomb inscribed on it.
00:20 Under the presidential decree 1727, an individual may be imprisoned up to five years
00:27 and will be fined up to 40,000 pesos.
00:30 But according to the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020, an individual who will initiate a bomb threat
00:36 and delay the operation of any airport in the country can be imprisoned for up to 12 years.
00:43 The AFC group is the only one who can provide information. So far, still under investigation.
00:52 Although I know there are people who are still interested, but they will not provide information while the investigation is ongoing.
