Black Snake on My Birdbath

I've seen this a couple times before, but couldn't get to my camera in time. Managed it this time, but only barely. The snake slithers through the low branches to get to the top of the bird bath which is about 2 feet high. I noticed what I first thought was a frog because only its head was visible, while it was drinking the water, but then it slithered fully onto the bath and that's when I scurried (quietly) off for the camera. The best part is, despite the blue jays protesting, the snake yawns. I love my creepy little back garden.
