00:03 And this is just simply put, not a game that Notre Dame should give up a bunch of
00:07 yards in a pass game.
00:09 I like Duke's receivers, they're solid players.
00:12 They're Jalen Cahoon is a really good athlete,
00:16 really quality wide receiver, Jordan Moore.
00:19 I like him a lot, I believe he's the converted quarterback who battled Riley
00:23 Leonard for the starting job, got beat out and they moved him a receiver.
00:28 Those are good football players.
00:29 They're tight end, Nikki Dow Mullen is a quality tight end, 6'4", 240.
00:35 Has nine catches for over 100 yards in the season, he's a quality player,
00:38 you can't turn loose.
00:39 Notre Dame had some issues with covering the tight end last week.
00:41 Now, of course, that was Kate Stover, she's a really good football player.
00:45 But you've got to do better there.
00:47 But simply put, this is a matchup Notre Dame should dominate.
00:50 Notre Dame ranks sixth, top ten in the country and few yards per game,
00:54 touchdowns allowed, pass efficiency defense their second.
00:58 They are 13th in yards allowed per attempt.
01:01 I mean, they've given up a couple big plays in the past game,
01:03 which are raised their yards per completion a little bit.
01:07 That Notre Dame also ranks, I believe, second or third.
01:10 Let me just go ahead and look it up real quick.
01:13 They rank pass defense, completion percentage.
01:16 They are first in lowest completion percentage allowed so far.
01:21 And so they've got to keep that going.
01:23 And when you watch Duke, Duke does a lot of stuff short and intermediate.
01:26 I broke it down last night that they are not a team that throws the ball down
01:30 the field a whole lot.
01:31 They don't throw the ball down the field with a whole lot of success.
01:34 They are working the short to intermediates, get the receivers in space.
01:38 Try to move the chains that way, complement the run game.
01:42 And then if you make a mistake and you miss a tackle,
01:44 that's when they're dangerous.
01:46 They're gonna run a lot of levels concepts.
01:48 They're gonna do some things trying to get the backs out of the backfield.
01:51 I talked about that from the matchup against Clemson.
01:55 That one of the things that Duke did really well in the past game,
01:58 Duke only threw 475 yards in that game.
02:00 But Jordan Waters, their running back had 46 yards out of the backfield on three
02:04 catches.
02:05 And then their other running back, Jacquez Moore, had a 28 yard catch.
02:08 I believe that was on a wheel route.
02:10 So their running backs had 74 yards.
02:13 So 74 of their 175 yards in that game came from their running backs.
