00:00 We are doing our duty and we are doing what we declared to the residents of Jedlina Zdrój, Głuszyce, the whole town of Wałbrzych and not only.
00:12 A few months ago, when the railway line started for the first time in many, many years,
00:18 connections were started for the newly rebuilt railway line that connected Świdnica with Jedlina Zdrój,
00:25 although the train courses end today, as we know, in Głuszyce.
00:30 So it is a line that connected Wrocław in practice through Sobótka, Świdnica, Jedlina Zdrój, the center with Głuszyce.
00:38 It is a line that is used today by our regional carrier, which is the Lower Silesian Railways.
00:46 The Lower Silesian Railways today make three connections on weekends.
00:51 They are used for Saturdays, Sundays and on Christmas days.
00:55 These connections are very popular, especially when the weather is good,
01:00 but not only.
01:01 The residents of the capital of our province are very interested in them,
01:05 who come here in crowds and spend time on the land of Wałbrzych.
01:11 Of course, for many months we have also been talking about the connection on this line,
01:18 which cost a lot of money, and the director knows about it best,
01:22 so that these connections are as frequent as possible.
01:25 We wanted the line to serve not only tourists, but above all the residents of the Wałbrzych land,
01:30 residents of Jedlina, Głuszyce, also Świdnica and all the towns that are on the railway route.
01:38 That is why we conducted very intensive talks and intensive work on the management of the railway fleet,
01:44 which, contrary to appearances, is not so much in the current railway revolution in the Lower Silesia.
01:49 Of course, we are constantly buying new trains, but the pace of rebuilding railway lines,
01:53 which we carry out as the provincial government, which carry out Polish railway lines,
01:57 is so high that we have to optimize the distribution in a way.
02:01 This has been happening in recent months, but now, when we see a lot of interest in the line,
02:06 and at the same time we are able to manage the other trains that will be running here,
02:11 we can announce good news that from the December schedule of the line,
02:16 6 trains will be arriving daily to Jedlina-Zdrój-Centrum, and will end their run in Głuszyce.
02:24 So, Jedlina-Zdrój, through the stops in the center, will get daily connections.
02:29 These will be connections partly and directly with Wrocław.
02:32 There will be one connection per day.
02:34 This will be a connection that will lead from Wrocław to Kudowy-Zdrój and to the other side.
02:40 So, one direct connection with Wrocław per day.
02:42 But the other 5 connections will be through Świdnica to Jaworzyna Śląska.
02:48 These connections will be communicated by a network with the trains that will be going to Wrocław.
02:54 This is a system that operates in many western countries, where the railway is well organized,
03:01 and also in our neighbors in the Czech Republic,
03:03 because we are not able to send several trains from each town to the capital of the Voivodeship.
03:12 So, this solution, which seems to be optimal and very useful,
03:15 also implies that the railway lines that we are rebuilding to Świeradów-Zdrój or Karpacz,
03:22 will be operated in a similar way,
03:24 will be communicated with trains in Jelenia Góra,
03:28 with trains that are going to Wrocław from Jelenia Góra.
03:30 And we use a similar system here.
03:32 In this way, Jedlina-Zdrój, as I said, not only Jedlina, because it is more towns,
03:38 but also towns of our land, Wabrzyna,
03:40 will get a daily connection with Świdnica and Jaworzyna,
03:43 from where you can switch to trains to many other places.
03:46 As I said, these trains will be coordinated with each other in such a way
03:50 that they don't have to wait longer than a few, maximum a dozen minutes,
03:53 to get to the capital of the Voivodeship.
03:55 So, this is a fulfillment of what we talked about in June,
04:00 when there were many voices that the railway line,
04:05 which was expected to be rebuilt,
04:07 was expected by the inhabitants and welcomed with joy,
04:12 but there was a certain shortage of trains,
04:14 because they were only weekend trains.
04:17 At that time, I also personally said that
04:20 from the next schedule of travel,
04:22 we will try to manage the fleet and the crews in such a way,
04:26 because it is also very important for the drivers and the crews,
04:30 so that from this December schedule,
04:33 the connections will be daily.
04:35 And this is what will happen from the December schedule of travel.
04:38 We encourage you to use the offer of the Lower Silesian Railways.
04:41 On this printed schedule, on this printed board,
04:45 the hours are given.
04:47 For now, these are the initial hours
04:50 announced by our regional carrier,
04:53 or in fact by the Marszałkowski office,
04:55 which is the organizer of regional transport to the PKP.
04:59 These hours, of course, depend on the repairs,
05:02 which are still on-going.
05:04 After all, here they take place from some conservation works.
05:07 They can differ ultimately until December
05:09 by a maximum of a few minutes.
05:11 However, it is such a grid,
05:13 which in our opinion,
05:15 also in the opinion of railwaymen, specialists, professionals,
05:18 who arranged it,
05:19 will ensure an optimal connection with Świdnica today,
05:22 and above all with Jaworzyna,
05:24 from where you can also switch to trains
05:26 to the capital of the Voivodeship.
05:28 And this is what we wanted to present to you today.
05:31 Of course, we hope that these connections
05:34 will be of great interest.
05:36 Depending on this interest,
05:38 we will, in the next months,
05:40 on the occasion of further changes in the schedule,
05:43 modify the network of connections in the appropriate way,
05:46 so that it meets the needs of the residents.
