A pipe has a different cross-sectional area at both ends. Fluid flows from one end of the pipe to the other end of the pipe. The end where the fluid flows in is often referred to as the inlet. The end where the fluid flows out is often referred to as the outlet. Based on the experiment, it turns out that the velocity of the fluid flow between the inlet and outlet is different.
