00:00 The Clinical Care Associates Program was launched by the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Health.
00:05 This is the source of the problems and shortcomings of the nurses in the country.
00:08 Here is my first news.
00:10 Nursing crisis, if the Commission on Higher Education and the Ched calls it,
00:17 is the shortcoming of the nurses in the country while they are in demand abroad.
00:20 Even in some private hospitals, according to their group,
00:23 there is only one nurse who is suing every 25 patients.
00:28 They are also lacking in the country.
00:30 It's worrisome.
00:31 Worrisome in the sense that we are really lacking in nurses right now.
00:37 To address this, the Clinical Care Associates Program was added to its scope.
00:42 For nursing graduates who are not yet receiving or passing their board exams,
00:46 they will work as Clinical Care Associates in 50 hospitals while doing board reviews in 20 higher education institutions.
00:55 That way, they can get to work immediately.
00:58 At the same time, it's to review so that the next time the boards come around,
01:02 they have a better chance of passing those boards.
01:05 We are the Ched, Health Department, Private Sector Advisory Council, and the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines.
