00:00 Yes, we need to take people.
00:01 Yes, multiculturalism enhances and adds to our society,
00:05 but it is really important that when people come here
00:08 that they integrate into our society.
00:11 And people who are already here don't feel
00:14 that there are disadvantages
00:17 and that there's too many calls on community services.
00:21 Therefore, it's important,
00:24 the scale of immigration that we take.
00:26 It's really important to understand
00:28 that uncontrolled illegal immigration
00:31 is an international challenge.
00:34 The UN has said that 108 million people
00:38 will have been displaced,
00:40 forcibly displaced by the end of 2022.
00:43 And it's really important
00:44 that we have international solutions to that.

00:50 with France to stop those Channel Boat crossings.
00:53 It's why we've entered into an agreement
00:55 with Albania, a returns agreement.
00:57 And it's why our small boats policy is working.
01:00 You know, we've seen 20% reduction
01:03 in those small boat crossings this year
01:06 as compared to last year.
