00:11 I've been watching a lot of the UAW and Big Alliance when I was a senator since 1973,
00:16 but I tell you what, the first time I've ever done it was the President.
00:19 Folks, look, one thing I'm going to stress on, to be very brief.
00:24 The fact of the matter is that you guys, UAW, you saved the automobile industry back in 2008 and before.
00:32 Made a lot of sacrifices, gave up a lot, and the companies were in trouble.
00:38 But now they're doing incredibly well, and guess what? You should be doing incredibly well too.

00:56 We'll get back what we lost, okay?
00:58 [Cheering]

01:08 Let me say it many times. Wall Street didn't build the country. The middle class built the country.
01:13 [Cheering]
01:15 The middle class built the middle class. That's a fact.
01:19 So let's keep going. You deserve what you've earned, and you've earned a hell of a lot more than you're getting paid now.
01:25 Thank you very much.
