00:00 And today, the pilot implementation of the solid K-10 curriculum of the Department of Education was also held.

00:06 In TNHS in Malabon, almost 700 grade 7 students are included in the pilot implementation.

00:12 Their principal said, the longer time for some subjects, such as values education, is included in the adjustments.

00:20 Learning competencies were also added, or what students should learn in science.

00:25 Aside from TNHS, the pilot curriculum of solid K-10 curriculum is also held in 34 schools in different regions of the country.

00:34 The DepEd said, the goal of solid K-10 curriculum is to decongest or reduce the lessons taught in kindergarten until grade 10 so that the curriculum is not overloaded.

00:44 The implementation of solid K-10 curriculum is slowly being done until 2028.

00:48 The target is to be implemented in kindergarten at grades 1, 4, and 7 in the next school year.
