Gwenevere, Fallon and Tamara must outwit Lady Kale and a band of outlaws as the Jewel Riders escort a trading caravan across the Badlands to a coronation at Castle Greenwood.
In the caravan are Fallon's parents who disapprove of her being a Jewel Rider. They would have much preferred for Fallon to have become a Craft Master like them. Fallon proves to her parents that she is very good at being a Jewel Rider and that her parents should accept her for who she is.
