00:35 All this cauldron created the conditions for a perfect storm
00:39 that helped to allow the rise of Nazism.
00:42 Suddenly, we heard a huge bang.
00:46 It was a German air strike.
00:52 We were quiet so as not to speak loudly.
00:56 Nobody heard us.
00:58 "Oh, Jew, you are still alive!"
