00:00 Angelica Ross has accused her former American Horror Story co-star Emma Roberts of creating
00:05 a difficult work environment and intentionally misgendering her while filming the FX series'
00:10 1984 season. In an Instagram Live, Ross alleged that Roberts implied that she was a man,
00:16 while the duo was in between takes on a set. "She goes, 'John, Angelica's being mean.'"
00:25 Ross, who is trans, recalled that Roberts was responding to an AHS director named John,
00:30 who asked them to refocus and get back to work. "John is like, 'Okay, ladies, that's enough. Let's
00:37 get back to work.' And she then looks at me and she goes, 'Don't you mean lady?' And she turns
00:45 around like this." Ross continued, "I'm staring at her, looking her dead ass in the camera,
00:50 and I'm like trying to process the f--- she just said." Ross also alleged that this was not the
00:54 first time Roberts has had negative interactions with an actor on a set, noting, "My blood is
00:59 boiling because I'm like, 'If I say something, it's gonna be me that's the problem.'" "And I
01:03 know this because there was someone who spoke up about what she was doing and they got repercussions
01:10 from it." Ross continued that she never spoke to the actress again after that. "We had scenes
01:16 together and I never spoke to her. She said to me, she could feel the energy coming off of me.
01:22 She was like, 'Are you okay? You haven't been talking?' I'm like, 'Mm-hmm.'"
