00:00 Did Jones silence his critics?
00:02 I think that you have to give Daniel Jones and the Giants
00:05 credit, especially coming back from a 21-point deficit
00:07 to eventually win over the Cardinals.
00:09 But I think we kind of got to pump the brakes on that
00:11 argument and see how things play out these next couple of weeks.
00:14 They take on the 49ers, Dolphins, and Bills,
00:16 all really tough teams.
00:17 And I think if they're able to be successful
00:19 in the next couple of weeks, then maybe we
00:21 can say that he has silenced the haters.
00:23 Just not yet for me.
00:24 Yeah, I don't care who they play,
00:26 what they do from here on in.
00:28 People are acting like this guy's a bum.
00:30 You know, they're acting like he's a bum
00:31 and should have his contract revoked.
00:33 Yet in the second half of that game,
00:35 he threw for 250-plus yards.
00:37 He ran for 50-plus yards.
00:38 He threw multiple touchdowns through the air,
00:41 scored a touchdown on the ground, and had no turnovers.
00:44 You know who's done that in NFL history other than Daniel
00:47 Jones?
00:47 Absolutely no one.
00:49 So you can't do that and then not be considered
00:52 a good QB in the league.
00:53 The Giants aren't a great team overall.
00:55 Their defense has looked suspect.
00:57 But Daniel Jones deserves a little bit of credit.
00:59 No one wants to give him that.
01:01 All they want to do is mock him for one hapless effort,
01:05 considering he got paid.
01:08 (upbeat music)
