Transcript
00:00 Winnita from South Warrnambool, you've just taken out the Division 3 League
00:05 Best and Fairest, how does it feel? Look I'm absolutely stoked, you know had a
00:09 great season and couldn't have asked for a better bunch of ladies to play netball
00:14 with and a better club to play it with so yes it's been a really amazing season
00:18 and to cap it off with this is just phenomenal.
00:21 You've made it through the season, made it to finals, unfortunately bowed out but in terms of just how has the year gone from an individual and team?
00:29 Yeah look we've had a really great year and a great season this year
00:34 unfortunately as you said bowed out in the finals but you know we'll be back
00:38 more determined next year as a team. We've played really well together and
00:42 feed off each other really well which you know for me I suppose has led to an
00:47 individual award here that I couldn't have done without the support and
00:51 everything I get from the team. You said you came back to netball after a 10 year hiatus
00:56 and you've been here at South for about three years, what's it just like to be involved in the Roosters
01:01 just from a sporting and community point of view as well?
01:05 Yeah it's been fantastic, it's always good to step back on the netball court every season and yeah having a big gap off
01:12 it was good to get back on the court and being at South you get that club
01:16 mentality and you get the community feel and everyone really rallies around you
01:19 which is a fantastic feeling.
01:21 So there's a lot of functioning going on behind us, can I celebrate this afternoon with a few more awards to come as well?
01:29 Yeah.
01:30 And potentially a few more South winners as well?
01:32 Here's hoping and yeah it'll be a long decent big afternoon I think.
01:36 Yeah.
