00:25 Oh wow, what a great scissor reel! Hi everyone, I'm Toby and I'm the producer of our new film Objects of Desire.
00:32 And this is our Objects of Desire quiz, where I'm going to be asking the crew different questions about the project
00:37 and they've got to try and answer as many as possible.

00:44 Hi everyone, my name's Dorothy and I'm the director and co-writer of Objects of Desire.
00:49 Okay, so Objects of Desire follows 22-year-old Nell as she embarks on a new business venture,
00:56 selling her used underwear over the internet.
00:59 In the film, we get an insight into her life, seeing her interactions with customers.
01:03 When a line is crossed, Nell's perspective on her work evolves and she continues to deliver the packages that contain their deepest desires.
01:12 Well, it's about the strangeness hidden in the fabric of normal life, embracing the weirdest, least understood parts of humanity and finding comedy within it.
01:21 Above all else, the film is a character study which aims to show that our darkest secrets are in fact what makes us human.

01:31 Meditative, insular and darkly comic.
01:34 Character focused, mysterious and...
01:38 Nuanced.
01:39 It's eerie, engaging and empathetic.

01:44 Well, from our lovely contributors, that's you guys, we need £1000.

01:53 Your donations are going to go towards creating a believable world through set design, beautiful visuals, through additional camera equipment,
02:00 and actually getting us to these locations so we can actually shoot this awesome story.
02:04 We also need money for the costumes that we've designed for the deliverer seen in the film and their eclectic customers fully fleshing out the world around our protagonist.

02:18 Okay, a computer screensaver, a signposter from the cast and crew, your name on the credits and the special thanks, exclusive behind the scenes photos,
02:24 an invite to the online premiere and the chance to see the film before any of the public and your very own thank you video from the director.
02:28 Yeah? And there's much more!

02:33 In an industry where male stories dominate, I think it's really important to have more female driven stories.
02:40 Um, I think the audience is going to be drawn to the humour and spark of our protagonist Nell.
02:46 She really has confidence that I admire.
02:48 Stories like Nell's are still quite rare and we love how open and non-nice the film is.
02:52 I can't wait to bring her life to the screen.
02:54 [Music]
02:56 Well, that sound means that that's time's up. We did well, don't you think?
03:00 This project really does mean a lot to us and we are working so hard as a team just to put our hearts and souls into it.
03:07 This idea is topical, fresh and we really think it's going to be something special.
03:13 We would be so grateful if you could donate even just a little to help our vision become a reality.
03:18 Thank you for watching.
