The Best of Anime 2023 opens at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023. Present during the ribbon cutting were Shigehiro Matsuda of the Japanese Embassy, Irene Lloren of Primetrade Asia, Japanese cosplayer Reika Arikawa, Japanese artist Miura Ayme, Filipino cosplayer AC Hernandez, Japanese girl group Starmarie, rock group Uchusentai NOIZ, and Davao-based pop group Pastel Mix.
