Deputy Profiling Black School Janitor - August 9, 2023

Before daylight on August 9th, 2023, Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to a local hospital in reference to a younger black male (early 20s) acting suspicious. The male left walking prior to deputies' arrival, so they circulated downtown to look for him.
At the 3:00 mark we can hear the ranking deputy tell the other one to stop and question any black male wearing pretty much anything dark, when the other one asked what the clothing description was.
At the 3:27 mark the ranking deputy stopped and questioned a black man in his late 50s or early 60s, who turned out to be the janitor at a local school. This particular deputy should've recognized him, as he's been the janitor there ever since this deputy was attending that school nearly 30 years ago.
As the janitor clearly wasn't in his early-20s, he clearly didn't fit the description of the person deputies were looking for. Therefore, this deputy racially profiled him. It's worth noting that the janitor's sister has been repeatedly profiled, harassed, and unlawfully stopped for "driving while black" at night by this same deputy and many others over the last few years.
The actual person that the deputies were looking for, was never located.
