15-time major winner Tiger Woods looks set to be edging closer to another golf comeback.

Earlier this year April, it was announced the 47-year-old had undergone "a subtalar fusion procedure to address his post-traumatic arthritis from his previous talus fracture" - essentially meaning he had surgery on his ankle once again.

Back in 2021, a horrifying car crash left the legendary golfer with serious leg injuries, with Woods needing to be freed from the wreck of his motor by firefighters and paramedics.

He managed to return to the golf course the following year at the 2022 Masters but has endured a challenging time since, making just two competitive starts this year.

One of those starts came at the 2023 Masters, only for Woods to have to withdraw from the competition due to injury - which then prompted him to get surgery on his ankle. He also withdrew from the US Open in May as well.

However, it now looks as though Woods is ready to make another comeback, after having been spotted for the first time hitting golf balls since his surgery earlier this year.

During a live Q&A session broadcast on Instagram Live by Eastside Golf, Woods was spotted one-hand chipping golf balls at Liberty National alongside Rickie Fowler and Will Zalatoris.

Alongside hitting some one-handed chips, Woods was also seen stretching out, as well as juggling some golf balls which had golf fans hyped about his prospective return to the course.

One fan wrote: "He looks in great shape" adding a goat emoji to their social media post. Another added: "Goat back to hitting balls we love to see it."

A third said: "Tiger Woods' comeback is on the horizon" with a fourth also writing: "Lolz I could barely chip with two hands and this mf…." after seeing Woods' one-handed chipping game.

And a fifth commented: "Idk if we ever see him play a tournament again, but damn that swing is still there no matter what. Just can’t walk that full 72."...
