Apple's Strategic Move: Price Increases for iPhone 15 Models in Key Markets

Apple raised the prices of its latest iPhones in some key markets like China, Japan, and India while keeping prices the same in the US. In China, which accounts for nearly 20% of Apple's total sales, the company raised prices for nearly all iPhone 15 models. In India, Apple kept prices the same for all versions of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus but hiked prices for all versions of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Analysts said the price increases target wealthier customers in growing markets and help support Apple's revenue amid a challenging smartphone market environment.
