00:00 We don't have a release date.
00:00 We've been shooting nonstop.
00:02 I keep joking, I'm like,
00:03 "Oh, I get why the Kardashians get paid the big bucks,
00:05 'cause this is a lot of work."
00:06 It's a lot of work.
00:07 - Big changes career-wise,
00:09 leaving Ridiculousness after more than a decade.
00:12 Was that a really tough decision for you to make?
00:14 - I don't know.
00:17 Yes, I definitely loved my run on Ridiculousness.
00:22 Such a great time,
00:23 but I really want to elevate to the next phase of my career.
00:26 And I think that the world needs to get to know me
00:28 a little better than just my laugh.
00:29 And so that's what my new show is gonna be,
00:31 is getting to know Chanel West Coast
00:34 on a whole 'nother level.
00:35 - I love that.
00:36 And executive producing, right?
00:38 - Yes, I'm executive producer of the show as well.
00:40 I signed a first look deal with Paramount,
00:41 so I'm also developing other shows for the network.
00:44 So it's been busy.
00:47 - What's kind of the vibe of the show?
00:48 And do you have like a release date?
00:50 Have you started shooting yet?
00:51 - We don't have a release date.
00:52 We've been shooting nonstop.
00:54 I keep joking, I'm like,
00:54 "Oh, I get why the Kardashians get paid the big bucks,
00:56 'cause this is a lot of work."
00:57 It's a lot of work.
00:59 - So is it reality-based about your life?
01:01 - Yes, yes. - I'm so fine.
01:02 - Super reality.
01:03 Like, I mean, you're gonna see me with no makeup,
01:05 which I don't love, but whatever.
01:06 You know, you get to see me crying,
01:08 and people have seen me laugh for so long,
01:10 but now you get to see a more vulnerable side.
01:12 And you get to see our life together,
01:14 raising our daughter, our friends are on the show.
01:17 So I can't give away too much more,
01:19 but you guys are gonna love it.
01:20 - Yeah, how did you feel about having cameras
01:22 kind of follow you around all the time?
01:24 - You know, I've always been the type of person
01:26 that just doesn't have anything to hide anyway.
01:29 So I guess it's just, you know,
01:30 it takes a second to adjust to it,
01:32 but ultimately you can still just live your life.
01:35 And it's, you know,
01:37 I feel like we've adjusted to it really well.
01:38 - But also look at this guy, he looks great on camera.
01:40 He doesn't have to worry.
01:41 I'm more worried about them catching bad angles
01:43 from different, and he's just like, look at him.
01:46 - Right.
01:46 - I think the difference, really,
01:48 especially from where she came from,
01:49 and even me in the modeling world,
01:51 is you're usually on a very set schedule,
01:53 and this is a little different.
01:55 It's like, they just show up to your house,
01:56 or, you know, they're just following you,
01:58 doing what you're doing throughout your day.
02:00 So it's a lot more invasive, I suppose.
02:04 But, you know, it's not necessarily a bad thing.
02:06 We're having fun with it.
02:07 - Definitely.
02:08 How's mom life?
02:09 - Mom life is great.
02:10 We're obsessed with our baby, Bowie.
02:12 She's so good.
02:12 Some of my friends are like,
02:13 you know that this is not normal
02:15 that your baby is this good?
02:16 Like, babies are not normally this good.
02:18 And I'm like, thank you, God.
02:20 So yeah, we love her so much.
02:21 Like, I'm happy to be here,
02:23 but like, still missing her every second.
02:24 - Yeah.
02:25 Well, I would say, even though she's a good baby,
02:27 what's been the biggest parenting challenge
02:28 that you guys have had to face with this new gender?
02:30 - The lack of sleep.
02:31 - The lack of sleep.
02:32 (laughing)
02:33 - Yeah, honestly, everything else has been really great.
02:37 It's literally just like the lack of peace and quiet,
02:39 and like, you know, not sleeping.
02:41 - Yeah, no, we don't sleep like we used to, you know?
02:44 - Never will again, right?
