00:00 Hello, I'm here with Paul Meese. Am I getting that right? I am getting that right.
00:08 How does it feel after reaching your 3k?
00:15 So it feels absolutely amazing and since announcing the party we've actually now passed 5 grand.
00:24 So I'm absolutely over the moon with all the support I've had for One Pumps the Fudge.
00:30 Yeah, couldn't be happier.
00:33 Why did you start this?
00:36 So I started it because I wanted to highlight local charities in the area.
00:44 And I was just making fudge for my family in the very very beginning.
00:49 And people asked me if they were able to buy the fudge. So I said they could.
00:55 But all the money, all the profits, I'd donate to the local charities.
01:00 So it sort of snowballed from there.
01:04 And then as the weeks went on I've sort of had the opportunity to donate to lots of different local charities.
01:10 And also highlight the services that they do in gospel.
01:14 Because it's really important that people know that if they need support there is support out there.
01:20 So I've recorded videos and done posts via my Facebook and Instagram.
01:25 Just highlighting what services are available and really if it only helps one person then that's the maximum.
01:34 And the fact that I've been able to raise money which has obviously gone back into the local community.
01:40 And helped to do so many different things.
01:44 It's the people from the local community buying the fudge that's then paying it forward to the government.
01:51 So yeah it's been amazing.
01:53 And I take it you're going to continue to make the fudge?
01:57 I am. So yeah, since passing the free grand target in June.
02:02 I announced the party but I also announced that I've upped the target to 10,000.
02:10 Because I wanted people to know I'm still going to keep going.
02:15 So as long as people are buying the fudge then I will carry on making the fudge.
02:20 Okay, that's great. And thank you.
02:23 Thank you so much.
