Taiwan Releases First Pork Exports in 20 Years

Taiwan shipped 22 tons of pork to the Philippines. It is its first pork export in over 20 years, after the country was declared free of foot-and-mouth disease in 2020. Pork is the largest sector of domestic livestock production, but exports were halted after an outbreak of the disease in 1997.
