On August 3, Dongfeng Peugeot 4008 360THP technology version was officially launched and its price is 169,700 yuan.
In terms of styling design, neither the appearance nor the interior has changed significantly compared to the outgoing model. The frameless air intake grille continues to be used on the front of the new car, and the "tooth-style" headlights are also retained.
The most obvious change is that the logo on the front of the car has been replaced with a new lion logo, which makes the entire front end look simpler and more elegant.
As for the sides of the body, the new car will have a roof rack, door and window trim strips, exterior mirror housings, front and rear wheel arches/side skirts, etc. It is equipped with blacked-out 18-inch wheels (225/55 R18). The length, width and height of the new car are 4510*1850*1628 mm, and the wheelbase is 2730 mm, which is basically the same as the old model and is positioned as a compact SUV.
Sitting inside the car, the central control area of the new car is equipped with a steering wheel with flat bottoms at the top and bottom, a 12.3-inch LCD display and a 10-inch floating central control screen. The i-Cockpit cockpit is still retained.
The large central control screen is also equipped with Blue-i 3.0 in-car intelligent operating system, which supports AR real display navigation, Huawei HiCar mobile phone interconnection mapping and other functions. The new car also supports 360 panoramic views and 540 transparent chassis.
In terms of interior space, the new car comes standard with electric adjustment/heating of the front seats, and the rear seats also support 4/6 folding. Even if an adult man 175 cm tall sits in the back row, there is enough room for his head and legs. With the openable panoramic sunroof, the visibility into the cabin is even wider.
The boot can still hold 461 liters of capacity when the rear row is in normal use. In addition, the new car is equipped with an electric tailgate that makes it easier to put and retrieve items in the trunk.
In terms of power, the 360THP model is equipped with a 1.6T engine and 8AT transmission with a maximum power of 125kW/170Ps and a peak torque of 250Nm.
The century-old CLDR mainstream chassis used in the new 4008 has undergone 6-wheel drive orientation adjustments by both China and France. It can provide more flexible and precise steering when driving around bends and achieve the statistically smallest minimum turning radius.
