00:00 I am Dr. Rajan Singh Bhati, Pundit of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association.
00:04 We have only one demand, and that is the price of petrol.
00:10 If we look at the current situation,
00:13 petrol is 9 rupees cheaper than diesel in Punjab and petrol is 16 rupees cheaper.
00:19 And if we look at the most expensive petrol in the neighbouring states,
00:23 if we look at the most expensive petrol in India, it is in Rajasthan and the most expensive petrol in India is in Ganga.
00:30 Due to this, the public is in pain.
00:32 Because of this pain, we have decided to close the deadline on the 13th from 10am to 6pm and on the 14th from 10am to 6pm.
00:41 And on the 15th, we have decided to close the deadline.
00:44 In this, we will also tell the public that we are not doing this for our own benefit,
00:48 we are doing this for the benefit of the Dealer Commission.
00:50 This is for your own benefit, because when you can get cheaper fuel,
00:54 when the dealers can get 10% diesel, then why should we give it to the public?
00:58 And if this is not done, then the deadline is not closed on the 15th.
01:02 Mr. Shashank, please tell us what is the situation in Pune and how have you arranged for the people who are in trouble?
01:10 Hello, my name is Shashank, I am the General Secretary of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association.
01:15 Look, the public does not have any reason to be in trouble, because the public is with us and we are with the public.
01:22 The issue we have raised is related to the public.
01:26 Because the public is suffering from inflation.
01:29 So, for the public not to have any kind of problem, we will continue the work till 10am and after that we will open the deadline on the 6pm.
01:37 This is a significant strike.
01:38 We will definitely go to the deadline on the 15th, but we hope that the government will listen to us and will wake up from sleep.
01:46 Because there is no way that we have not tried since the last year, how many meetings have been held, how many meetings have been given,
01:55 so that we can meet the legal demands of petrol and diesel rates.
02:00 There were many meetings at the level of finance and department, in which the officials of the Rajasthan government and the officials of the petroleum companies were present.
02:11 And they all explained the same thing that these rates are not acceptable because the rates are the highest in the whole of Rajasthan and the whole of India.
02:18 So, now you asked the public not to be in trouble, so for the people's trouble we have told you the timing that we will keep it closed from 10am to 6pm and then we will open the pump.
02:27 Along with that, the emergency services like ambulance, police car and other government emergency services, we will give petrol and diesel to them.
02:39 Our aim is only that our voice reaches the government, the voice of the people reaches the government and the people get relief from this sky-high inflation.
