Aussie Wine Group production and design manager Zac Villis was one of five agtech start ups to pitch their innovation at the AgTech Angel Investor Network's Pitch to Paddock competition at AgSmart.

00:00 My name's Zach, I'm from Aussie Wine Group,
00:01 and I'm here to show our infield grape sorting system.
00:04 So we have one system here that's retrofit
00:06 to the boom of the harvester.
00:08 We also have a bin trailer system.
00:10 In comparison to all of the other harvesters
00:12 and systems out there, no fans are needed for our system.
00:15 Lots of juice savings through the machine.
00:17 And all the free fruit is able to fall through.
00:20 All your part bunches, mugs, leaves, sticks,
00:23 everything like that's carried forward through the belt.
00:26 Only what needs to go through the flexing fingers does.
00:29 So your part bunches just to get those last few
00:31 distemming berries off.
00:33 The rest of the mold comes out through the front,
00:35 either dumping straight into the vineyard
00:37 or a kicker belt to dump it to the side of the vines.
00:40 And that's our machine.
